Too big for beginners
Being an anal novice, I was very intimidated by the Ryder when I first took it out of its box. I held it up side-by-side with my only other plug, Happy Valley's smallest Pleasure Plug, and stared in awe at the obvious difference in girth and shape. I thought, "How am I ever going to fit that monster into my butt?!"
Still, though, it was beautiful. It has a swirly, dark purple color. It is made out of a smooth, firm silicone with just a little give. The company name is carved into the base. It felt instinctually like something I would enjoy using, even though it scared me.
After spending a few minutes warming up in a hot bath with some water-based lube and a few fingers, I felt ready. I slid it in, and it was surprisingly easy.
This being the biggest thing that's ever been in my butt, it was initially uncomfortable. The first 20 minutes of wear were squirmy and awkward. I kept worrying that it would slip out, but it didn't. I felt very full, which was initially an odd sensation. As I neared the 30 minute mark, that fullness started to feel delicious.
I got wet. My G-spot felt like it was swelling. I wanted to be fucked, and all of those feelings centered around this perfect egg shaped silicone entity in my ass.
So yeah, you could say that I like the Ryder. I don't think it's a great choice for an anal beginner, as it's quite large and definitely requires a fair bit of warm-up. For someone closer to intermediate on the ass play scale, the Ryder is an excellent choice.
It gets wonderfully glossy when lube is applied. I imagine it would feel great vaginally as well (with a condom over it, of course). Its base is comfortable on my butt cheeks and allows it to be thrust in and out in tiny strokes. It's 100% silicone. It can be washed, boiled, and/or sprayed with a 10% bleach solution to clean it. I found that the Ryder retained a trace of ass smell even after washing it with antibacterial soap, but I assume this problem will dissipate when I boil it.

Follow-up commentary

I barely use this plug because of how big it is and how the shape makes it more difficult to insert than most plugs. Once I get it in, though, it feels amazing. It just takes me longer to warm up to.

I've heard that a bicarbonate of soda (baking soda) paste can help with silicone that retains smells.
