Paul is awesome, but Paulina is lacking
It's massive, for starters. The clitoral vibrations are so weak the arm might as well not be there. In fact, if it wasn't there at all, it might have been better because then I could use another vibrator with it. It's waterproof, but it doesn't lock. Not recommended for beginners; vaginal or anal. In a previous review, it was mentioned that it has an alternative use as a lint magnet; that's not an exaggeration.

First, the specs: The Fun Factory Paul and Paulina is a dual stimulator for the clitoris and g-spot. It has no smell or taste, and is quite loud on its highest setting. Paul and Paulina is made of 100% medical grade silicone, and the handle is plastic, so it's easy as pie to clean. I'm not sure why you would try to clean pie. Even though Paul and Paulina is covered in ribs, they aren't deep enough to let any bacteria hide in them.
So, in case you were wondering, Paul is the big guy, while Paulina is the clitoral attachment. For a little background: the original Paul and Paulina that used batteries was modeled after two worms coming out of an apple, but for whatever reason, Fun Factory ditched the apple in the rechargeable version and left the worms so that now it looks like one coming out of the other. Weird.
It measures 6 1/2" insertable and has a girth of 1 5/8". My Lelo Gigi has an insertable length of 4 1/2", which I found on the short side, so I thought that the extra two inches would be fine. Man, was I wrong. I'm not very tall, and I could just barely fully insert this toy. On top of this, after I did insert the toy, the clitoral arm does not have a separate motor, and it is weak. It has pathetic vibrations. I've never been more disappointed with a toy. I should have bought the previous version, because it at least had two separate motors, and pleasure beads. I have no idea why they changed it, but I wish they hadn't changed those aspects. I'd recommend the Twist and Shake model. But, being pro-environment; I had to go for the rechargeable, even though its features are lacking in comparison.
I saw another review where someone pointed out the weak clitoral vibrations, but then I read a discussion where people said they loved the vibrations from the clitoral arm. Trusting that, I splurged and bought the toy when it wasn't even on sale, assuming that the woman who pointed out the weak vibrations must have a clit-o-steel. Maybe her and I both have steel clitorises, but I wound up ditching the toy and taking out a different vibrator to finish. I loved the girth of this toy, so it was pretty heartbreaking that I spent so much money on it and the vibrations are so weak. Paul has pretty good vibrations, but they don't go to Paulina; just the handle. The toy has no locking feature, which I didn't like and which makes it unsuitable for travel, as there are no batteries to take out, just in case.
On the bright side, it's rechargeable. It's also waterproof, multi-speed/ multi-pattern, and has LED light up buttons. The handle is cool, but the charger is just terrible. Click N' Charge, summarized: The basic idea is that there's a magnetic charger that sticks to the toy and charges it through that connection when it meets up properly. I stuck it on the back and wasn't even sure it was working because the charger was supposed to light up and didn't. I spent a long time waiting for it to light up and it only would when I was holding it. I thought the reason was that it was only when I held it, that the magnets were parallel enough to charge. Turns out; the light only turns on in the dark, and it was only when my hand was covering it that the sensor thought it was dark and started lighting up. Since the instructions were so vague, and there was little or no information on the charger on-line, I had to just figure that out on my own.
In case you were wondering, yes, you can use the toy to stimulate the vagina and perineum, or men could use it (if they're advanced users) for anal use and use the arm on their testicles. I would not recommend this for vaginal or anal beginners because of its size, and I wouldn't recommend it to advanced users because the vibrations would probably not be strong enough. I honestly feel like I wasted my money on this, which, as a starving student, makes it even worse. I think I would have felt it was a justified purchase if I could have mustered one orgasm from it, but it just wasn't strong enough.
To take care of your toy; Paul and Paulina is not dishwasher or boiling safe, although it can be cleaned with a 10% bleached solution, if you are so inclined, however, warm water and soap work as well. Always use a water-based lube to prevent your toy from becoming tacky.

Wow. You're right, it's enorm! Wish it had a motor in the clitoral arm, you'd need it for this sized toy. Thanks!
