This plug is a great plug for any beginner or intermediate anal player. For me, this plug was rather small, as many of my go-to anal toys are 1 1/2 inch in diameter or larger. However, this is a great toy to warm up to anal sex with or to use for long periods of time. For those who are not as experienced with anal, this could hurt if you did not use enough lube upon insertion. As with most anal toys, it's very important to have patience and lots of lubricant on hand. My hands may be tiny, but this is a good example of how big the Love Pacifier is.




It has a ring, which you could possibly hook something on to, like a faux tail. Many "tails" that I see people wear use a mechanism of latching onto a belt buckle. The ring of the Pacifier is thin enough that a tail like this should be able to hook on!

If you end up not enjoying anal play, it would be a relief to know that this could be re-purposed. Because of its thin neck, it could also be used as a beginners kegel toy if you wish it to be used as such.

Many complaints about this toy cite that the seam on the toy is very bothersome. However, I have found that any type of metal file can easily remove the seam with just a little bit of work. A lot of people don't want to deal with this sort of issue on a toy and will buy higher quality. However, you get what you pay for when you are buying an inexpensive toy, and it is nothing a little bit of patience can't fix.

Initially, I was concerned about the contents of this toy when I did an initial lighter test and found that it yielded an unusual amount of ash, which is usually a sign that the material is made of something else besides silicone. However, I recently found out that the toy is actually made out of the same kind of silicone that Tantus' O2 line is made out of. This kind of silicone is less dense, causing the "plushy" feeling of the outside of the plug. The ring is also very soft and flexible. California Exotics also uses this on some of their multi-density toys, the Advanced Pacifier being one. However, the safety of the toy is not impacted in any way by use of multi-density silicone.




Out of the packaging, there was no smell to the toy. Compared to Tantus and other silicone toys that I have bought from Cal Exotics, the Pacifier was surprisingly smooth and did not grab a lot of lint. The plus side of this is that it makes insertion a lot easier than a lot of plugs which seem to "drag" across the anus. The minus side is that I suspect that there is something besides silicone in the material. The material is firm, but soft enough to be comfortable for insertion. The neck and ring are extremely flexible. I honestly do not think that the Love Pacifier looks that much like a pacifier at all, but is pleasurable inside the body. If inserted correctly, it is shaped for prostate or PS stimulation.

This plug feels wonderful when it is inserted. When you insert the tip, you find that the smoothness of the material and the flexibility really allows you to insert it without any painful stretching. The ring allows you to lightly thrust. The rest of the bulb is a lot more firm, but not uncomfortably so. Once you get past the widest part of the bulb it slides in and stays in place. The widest part of the toy is about 2 inches in diameter or 5 inches in circumference.







The neck is not very thick, being about a half of an inch in diameter, making it suitable for long sessions or even going out shopping with it in.


It may look like the ring would "protrude" while you're wearing it, but because of how flexible it is, it actually collapses as you wear it. However, do not worry about it sliding into your butt; near the neck the ring is a lot thicker. The ring measures 2" in diameter. Today I did an experiment on wearing it out, and my girlfriend said she could notice the ring, but that was only because she knew it was there. I had no problems and it was very comfortable.



Overall, this toy is a medium-sized toy that might be a little too large for beginners, but just right for someone who is graduating to a 2-inch plug. Anal aficionados may find this toy too small for their needs.

I really appreciate the design of the ring and I feel that it adds a lot to one's ability to control the plug. I find a lot of toys with bases that concern me because they seem very small, but a ring like the one on the Advanced Pacifier won't get too slippery to hold on to and pull out. It also does not get in the way of vaginal penetration like many plugs do.

The mold quality is definitely a downside to this toy. I think that Cal Exotics could have spent the time and money to get rid of the seam and bump it up by just a few dollars in price. However, it is not bothersome to remove it yourself.

This plug is easy to take care of. To sterilize it , you can boil this toy like you would a pot of macaroni or throw it in the silverware basket of your dishwasher.

It shouldn't be stored next to other silicone toys, so it might need some sort of bag to keep it away from other silicone toys.

Never use silicone-based lube with silicone toys. However, always remember to use a lot of water-based lube when you're playing with it!

The packaging is very simple and not too extravegant. It's not discreet, since the toy is shown on the front. I've never bothered to reuse the box to put the toy in. Inside of the box there was a plastic bag that the toy was held inside. However, if you put some gift wrap on it, I'm sure that it would look wonderful as a gift.
