Mrs. Peg and I LOVE glass toys. In fact, glass is our second favorite sex toy material because of all its great characteristics. The Moon Shine butt plug embodies all these great features and does it at a very affordable price.

First and foremost, glass is non-porous which means we can share. There is really nothing that is easier to clean than glass. You can soak it, boil it, and even throw it in the dishwasher. Once it's cleaned, your partner can use it without fear of contamination. Glass toys can also go be used anally and then, once thoroughly cleaned, be used vaginally. Furthermore, it doesn't retain any odors, which is always a nice feature when something is going in your backside.

Glass is also very sturdy. The Moon Shine plug is made from Pyrex, which is particularly strong because it is tempered. Unlike other materials, glass can be used with any kind of lube you choose to grease it with. You don't have to worry about what you are grabbing out of your nightstand and what the toy may be made of. Glass stands up to it all: oil, water-based or silicone lubes won't hurt it. The fact that glass does not flex or give at all is the only thing we don't like about glass. Because it is so rigid, you sometimes need to exercise a little bit of caution as to where you are thrusting and how hard. Being a plug, this is not really an issue with the Moon Shine.

The Moon Shine plug is also perfect for temperature play. I like a cold plug every now and again. Mrs. Peg ONLY likes warm toys. Glass warms or cools easily and holds its temperature pretty well. With a toy like the Moon Plug, Mrs. Peg and I both can have something we like.

The Moon Shine plug is a great shape and size. It is big enough that I, who generally prefer larger toys, can still enjoy having it inside me. It's long enough to exert a nice amount of prostate pleasure and wide enough to let me know it is there. Because it is not huge, Mrs. Peg could also comfortably have it inside of her (cleaned between uses, of course!). The bulbous tip easily keeps it in place during play, while the flared base keeps it from slipping completely inside. The weight of a glass toy in your ass also enhances the presence of the toy, which I particularly enjoy.

Finally, glass toys are pretty, and the Moon Shine is no exception. While it is clearly a butt plug, and therefore is not suitable for most people to have on their mantles, it doesn't look all that bad on a nightstand or a dresser.

In all, there is nothing that we did not like about the Moon Shine. It feels great, is easy to clean, and looks fantastic. As far as butt plugs go, this plug is one of my favorites.

This is a fine glass plug. I still wish the color was a little different. We have played with chilling this. It hold the cold as well as it does heat. Still prefer warming it up, but sometimes you have to do what you are told. ;) Being glass, this should last forever and we expect to be playing with it for a really long time.
