The base is large enough to keep it from getting lost in there and the heart handle seem relatively sturdy but not necessary due to the large base. I feel that the size is a little larger than most beginners would use but that means it will remain usefully as your experience increases. That being said the size was not a problem for me as a beginer.

The vibration provided by the bullet seemed very strong until it was inserted. I definately knew it was turned on but look forward to a toy with a stronger vibration.
