The Mood Naughty medium butt plug from Doc Johnson is a great for beginners just starting to experiment with anal play or even intermediate anal experts. In my opinion, it may be a bit small for anyone who has used anal toys. It is one of the most comfortable butt plugs that I own and doesn't feel strange if you move or are twisting around. Also, the materials are soft and flexible. It stays in great, I think has to do with the actual shape. The curved base is a lovely shape and stays close to your bottom. The curve that is at the base could also makes for great anal play during intercourse.

The Mood Naughty butt plug is made of silicone, so I believe if lubricant is used, you shouldn't use silicone based lube. I only use water base lube and I believe it is a little less sticky when it dries. Because of the material used and size of it, it is easy to maintain and cleaning is relevantly, easy just a little soap and warm water and you are good to store it back in its container. I would have loved it if the length would have been about maybe half an inch longer, but I am not complaining. If my partner ever made me throw out my toys, I would definitely keep this one with out a doubt.
