I hate to sound like a negative-Nancy but the Posh anal beads were a let down for me. They do what they need to do and are very cute, but I can't get over the fact that they retain scents after use. If that isn't an issue for you, then I suppose the beads are a great buy. I guess I just have higher expectations for silicone toys than I do for jelly-type toys. I took the toys out and set them on the couch next to me while writing this and I get occasional hints of the smell.
The Posh Silicone Beads are anal beads made entirely out of silicone. They are appropriate for beginner and intermediate users, but I don't think advanced users would have any use for them. They are comfortable enough where you can wear them for multiple hours without discomfort and the ring is small enough that if you are dressed, no one would have any idea that they are in. The ring seems to be strong enough to make the toy safe for the beads' intended purpose. Given the low profile nature of the beads, I wouldn't say there is a set occasion or situation for them. They can be used during sex, masturbation, or even when cleaning around the house.
As you can see below, there is a bit of texture to the beads, but it's not to the point where it should become overwhelming. Honestly, once inserted, you can't feel the texture at all and can barely even feel it going in. The beads are firm but do have some give if you squeeze them. The cord is super stretchy, but seems durable. While the toys have no scent when they are new, they do retain scents after being used for several hours. In fact, I've cleaned the one about 10 times now using antibacterial wipes & scented hand soap and the smell hasn't dissipated. Kind of a major draw-back in my book, since my other silicone anal toys don't seem to have that problem. It doesn't make them unusable, but it is a pretty big disappointment.
The design of the toy, at first glance, is really visually appealing. You pretty much need to push each bead in individually since the cord is so stretchy. I know some users were saying the size is kind of small but I think it's pretty on par with average anal beads, outside of not having a difference in size from the bottom bead to the top bead. I think that would be a nice improvement but it doesn't detract from the toy as a whole.
According to the box, the smaller of the two sets of beads is 3/4 of an inches by 9 inches, and has 5 beads. The beads have little bumps all over them and kind of remind me of horse chestnuts. The larger set is listed as 1 inch by 10 inches, and also has 5 balls. They have horizontal raised lines running around them which can make them a bit of a pain to put cornstarch on them without them having the space totally filled in with the white powder. Not a huge deal, just mildly annoying. I was also kind of bummed to see that the blue of these toys is much darker than the bright teal in the picture. It doesn't hamper on the functionality of the toys, but I have to admit, I was slightly disappointed when pulling them from the box when they arrived in the mail.
I wanted to love these toys. They are cute, a cheerful color, and 100% silicone. They are also comfortable to wear long-term (I've slept with the smaller strand in and didn't wake up uncomfortable. I got them to replace the jelly set shown above because, as you can see, the handle broke off of it. I took this picture to give a size frame of reference for those like myself who get a better idea of size when there is a frame of reference versus just numbers on a tape measure.
I was super excited to get these in the mail and when I got the chance to use them my only complaint, initially, was that it can be a bit of a pain to push the beads in individually, since all of the anal toys above are a bit more firm and don't require that level of force to move into place. However, I was willing to overlook this fact because the beads are cute and they are comfortable in place. I walked around with them with no issue and even slept with them in place.
The major disappointment was that the beads seem to absorb scent after extended use. I haven't had that problem with any of the other anal beads I have but it was really noticeable with these. As I stated above, I washed the set that smelled several times and even tried to counteract the smell with pretty smelling soap after I sterilized it. No dice. The smell is still there and is pretty noticeable. I'm not sure why a pure silicone toy would maintain that level of smell seeing as it's nonporous, but there's no denying that the beads smell. Maybe it will go away in time but as of yet, it doesn't seem inclined to leave. I was willing to overlook the slight hassle of insertion but I can't overlook the smell, since it makes me feel like they aren't totally clean, even though they were thoroughly cleaned. I will probably end up washing them in the dishwasher to see if it helps if the smell isn't gone in a few days because I don't want it touching other toys when it smells like that.
Given that the toys are pure silicone, cleaning should be a breeze. You can use antibacterial wipes, antibacterial soap, or even pop them in the dishwasher. They shouldn't be high maintenance either since you don't have to worry about them touching other toys in your toy box and melting them. You shouldn't use silicone lube on the toy since it will wreck the beads. I'd also recommended using corn starch to make sure they aren't sticky or being a lint magnet.
I'm saying "should" because my set has maintained a rather strong smell and I think it has moved into the high-maintenance category. Washing it over and over and over to try and get the smell to go away isn't something that one should have to do with a silicone toy. I've also been hesitant to store it, touching the other silicone toys in my toy box, because I don't want them picking up the scent and the smell makes me feel like it's not sterilized. That could just be in my head, but it makes me really hesitant to let it be in close proximity to the other beads that I've had no issue with.
The box is bright, colorful, and cute. The text is presented in a way that manages to be informative while being visually appealing. The beads were in a sealed plastic bag inside the cardboard container. I recycled it when I got the toy but kind of wish I kept it now, given the issues I've had with the smaller set of beads.
Follow-up commentaryI still don't like it19 days after original review
I said I'd wait to give the follow-up review to see if they didn't smell anymore. They still smell. I've cleaned them multiple times, tried letting them air out, and finally gave up and bagged them. I have bronchitis with a stuffy nose and I can still tell they smell, so I doubt it's going to stop being an issue. The beads are cute, affordable, and comfortable but the smell kind of kills the perks of the beads. I will probably use them from time to time but I don't like that I feel like I have to bag the beads to keep them from touching my other silicone anal toys. Bummer.

Thanks for the review. I'd actually never thought of using corn starch on my silicone toys...or have had the need to apply corn starch because it got THAT sticky...
Also, I am doubting that this is pure silicone because it retains smell so highly :/
Great review and thanks for the pictures!

Yeah I'm not sure that it's pure silicone. They aren't that sticky but I've just found that using corn starch can help prevent toys from collecting dust bunnies.

Thanks for the review. Thanks for the pictures. They seem a little too small for me.

Great review - thank you!

They are about average (the bigger of the two), but I don't want to have to isolate a toy because it smells... I'll wait a bit before updating the review but as of yet it seems like it's not something that's going to resolve itself.

That's strange about the smell, I have these in orange and they get quite a bit of use with no smell left over at all after washing them well with soap, strange. Thanks for the review.

Great review and thanks for the pictures!
