We found the Magic Spell to be a lot of fun. It has two different ends for your pleasure. One end is nice and round and we found this to work well for vaginal use. The other end is larger but has a fantastic taper. The tapered end was magical in the backside. You do want to use caution when using it as an anal wand since it is glass. There is no give. Lubrication and time are your friends. Since it is glass, you can use your lubricant of choice with this toy. The clean up is really simple and it can even be run through the dish washer. The Magic Spell is really fantastic for temperature play. A little time in a bowl of hot water makes things hot and a short time in the freezer or refrigerator make it icy. On top of all that, the Magic Spell looks very nice and comes in a velvet bag.

The Magic Spell is made of medical grade borosilicate glass. It is incredibly smooth to the touch and very pleasing to the eye. Being glass, it is as firm as it gets. You will want to use caution when using it for thrusting. I would recommend it for basic vaginal play and intermediate anal play. Because it is glass it tends to feel a little larger than it actually is. The Magic Spell is very good for temperature play. It holds cold or heat for a long time. The glass also gives this toy a nice weight.

The Magic Spell is a whimsically beautiful toy. However, it is not the best of designs. When being used vaginally, she did not find it overly interesting. The ball end felt a bit small and the tapered end just did not hit the right places. She prefers a toy with a little bit of curve to it like the Bent Graduate. The size was not at all intimidating for vaginal use.

For anal use we found the Magic Spell really is magical. The tapered end makes a fantastic anal probe/plug. I would only recommend it for intermediate anal play.

As we stated before, the Magic Spell did not perform overly well vaginally but really shined anally. It is glass so there are no batteries to worry about or parts to damage. It does come with a velvet bag to keep the Magic Spell safe when you are not using it.

The Magic Spell is one of the easiest toys to care for. It can be cleaned with soap and hot water, in the dish washer, boiled, or with toy cleaner. It is not porous so it can be shared without worry. The Magic Spell is compatible with any lubricant you care to use.

The Magic Spell did not come with any commercial packaging. It was inside its velvet bag and wrapped in bubble wrap to keep it safe on its journey to us. It did not come with any instructions but non are required.
