Let's start out by saying that when I first used an anal toy, I picked out a 1.5" plug, and I found it to be deliciously perfect in size - but, for most people, that's not quite how it goes! Caress is the ideal, versatile starter toy for people of all genders looking to experiment with anal. As long as you're someone who likes to be rimmed or you have a partner who will stick their thumb or a single finger in your ass - you'll find this toy to be a perfect fit. It's also a great segue to larger (1", 1.25" 1.5") plugs or dildos if you're worried about accommodating a larger toy right away.

The O-ring handle makes this toy absolutely perfect for slow, sensual teasing and escalating movement - especially if you're trying to manipulate it and another toy simultaneously. Use it in the shower, bathtub, or wherever you fancy - it's small and discreet enough to easily tuck away.

The silicone is incredibly soft, silky, and smooth to the touch, making Caress a gentle and user-friendly toy for anal beginners. It's also slightly see-through, and flexible enough to bend lightly, but firm enough to retain its shape and hold when it's inserted.

There are slight, contoured ridges on the toy, but I wasn't able to feel them when I used the toy - so I don't know if I would actually call it a "contoured probe." However, the softness of the material made up for the lack of texture.

I'm convinced that Caress was designed to mimic the thickness of a thumb, with a slightly longer length, and the same slight curve at the tip of the toy - it truly feels like such a natural shape and texture, which is so much less intimidating for anal beginners compared to larger toys. That also means it's uber discreet - you can pack it in a bag, pocket, or jacket and use it virtually anywhere, and it makes a great toy to travel with, especially since it won't start buzzing in your suitcase!

It's also helpful to note that the thickness stays consistent through the toy - since a lot of plugs can drastically increase from a single point to the widest diameter in a very small amount of space, those toys are often more uncomfortable for anal beginners, and can take some time and experimentation (and lube!) to adjust to.
