Butt plugs can be used in several different ways, many of which I tried this product out for.

They can be used for extended wear. I wore this plug to make doing housework more enjoyable. But for the more daring, Severin certainly seems secure enough wear out in public. My only issue for extended wear is the same as with any other plug in that if you're gassy in the slightest there is no way for it to escape. Hence being a plug. This quality can be good if you are trying to hold in enema water, cum or what ever else is your cup of tea. I find Severin really great for extended wear due to the shape of the base. It is oblong, and fits snugly between my cheeks.

It can also be used during vaginal sex (for either those who have a vagina or a partner with a vagina), which is my favorite use. It gives me the feeling of being delightfully double stuffed and for my boyfriend it provides pressure, pulls my vagina tighter and, depending on the shape of the plug, provides sensation.

One of the main reasons I wanted this plug is for anal training. Being far away from my boyfriend for a while, my bottom shrunk quite a bit from a lack of our usually regular anal sex. I first started again with my smallest plug and then moved on to this toy. It is good for training because of its squishiness and give, but because of its waxy lava lamp-like design, its girth is uneven, making it a little less useful for training.

Severin is 100% silicone. It is non-porous, which is an extremely important quality in an anal toy. It is especially squishy, more so than my other severin plugs (with the exception of their "02" products).

It have no smell or taste, another plus of silicone.

This extra soft silicone is good for beginners because it has a good amount of give, as opposed to a harder material such as glass.

My only issue with silicone is that it is often quite tacky. This is not an issue except for storage.

I loved the wavy design of this toy. It made with insertion and removal exciting, but i did not notice as much once it was inside. It did notice it a bit but it was not as profound of a sensation as you might expect. While I do not have a prostate, I have a feeling this would not be especially useful for prostate stimulation based on the top part of the toy being pretty small and flexible.

This is the smallest Severin made by Tantus. It is 1.5 inches in diameter and 4.35 inches long. I felt that this toy was pretty girthy for a small toy, so keep this in mind before ordering. This toy also comes in a medium and large size, for more advanced plug-lovers.

While this texture is good for beginners, I would not recommend this as a first plug due to its girth. Perhaps a good second or third plug.

This toy did everything a butt plug should. Its shape is easy to insert but plump enough to stay it. It feels good going in and coming out. It feels nice and filling during use. It makes for a good addition to vaginal sex. It is shaped well for extended wear. It really is a cute, user-friendly toy.

One of the great things about silicone is how easy it is to keep clean. You can boil it in a pot of water to clean it. You can also put it in the dishwater. You can put it in a bleach solution (10% bleach). I personally use Provon soap (a medical, antimicrobial soap) after use and boil after every few uses.

Silicone can not be used to silicone-based lube. It will bind to your toys and destroy them. So...don't do it.

For this same reason, silicone toys should not touch for extended periods of time. The stronger silicone can break the other down. It is best to store your silicone in plastic sandwich or freezer baggies. Because most silicone is varying degrees of tacky, this can make them especially annoying to take in and out of its baggie. There is no preventing this. Just prepare to be clawing it out if the bag in desperation to put something up your butt. Make sure your plug is dry before putting it in its baggy to prevent yuckiness and potential bacteria.

Overall I really liked this toy. It is a great addition to a plug collection, but not a great first plug due to its shape and its girth. On top of all of its uses it happens to be an attractive toy.
