The Blue Spiral By SSA Glass is a juicing-type glass dildo which may be used for either vaginal or anal stimulation. Best suited for partner play, the juicer is manipulated by twisting the handle on the base which, depending on the direction twisted, gives different sensations for the user. Although solo play is possible, partner play is recommended to get the full effect of the toy. Due to the position of the handle in relation to the base, it is difficult to turn the handle of the toy when inserted.

When used anally, insertion of the head of the toy feels just like any other plug, but once you reach the spiraled glass and it starts rotating inwards, the feeling is amazing. With a large base, this toy is definitely safe for anal use.

Made up entirely of Pyrex glass - a 10 on the Eden safety scale - this toy does not originally contain and does not hold on to any taste or smells that may occur from use.

With a firm material you can feel every, single, little bump and spiral of this toy, which is amazing. Because it is glass, the toy may be heated or chilled to enhance the juicing experience with a little bit of temperature play. It actually seems to hold cooler temperatures better than a lot of the other toys I own, both glass and other materials.

Designed more as a juicer than a dildo or plug, the design of this toy allows itself to be twisted in instead of just thrusting. As with any other toy which provides a unique experience, I would recommend that everyone try this at least once.

Designed with a 6” length, 4” of which is insertable, and a 1.5” diameter max, this juicer is good for beginners and more advanced users looking for a new experience. The only issue I had with the design is that the placement of the handle made it difficult to actually turn it during solo play, so a partner is definitely recommended to get the most out of this toy. If a toy that has a juicing capability yet is easily used for solo play is desired, I would recommend a toy with a handle on the outside diameter of the base rather than one that is attached at the bottom.

This toy provides a unique experience that you are unlikely to get with most other non-juicer type toys. For that reason alone, I would recommend trying it, especially when the Blue Spiral is at a much lower price than a lot of similar type toys.

The only thing I really did not like about this toy was the handle and the way it was positioned on the base which prevented easy, full rotation during solo play, though it is much easier when playing with a partner. Overall this toy didn’t perform as well as I had expected, but I had high expectations to begin with. For a lot of users, I believe that they will get the enjoyment they are seeking, especially when using with a partner.

As with any other Pyrex glass toy, the Blue Spiral may be cleaned with soap and water or your favorite toy cleaner. It can be sterilized with boiling water or a bleach solution. Another great thing about glass is that it can be used with just about any lubricant including water, oil and silicone-based, and if desired, it can be heated or cooled for interesting temperature play.

The only thing that you need to be careful of with this toy, as well as any other glass toy, is handling during use and storage. Since it is glass, any drop or fall on a hard surface can damage the toy, which if damaged should not be used. Unfortunately, the only protection for this toy that you get is a small, velvet pouch which does little to protect your toy, so a little bubble wrap before putting it away is recommended.
