I am still quite new to anal play and I am starting to see the real benefits of slowly working up to full on anal sex. I will be honest I quailed at the size of the Joe Rock by Happy Valley. Now don't get me wrong, this is no jumbo gorilla arm sized anal toy! Still it was quite a mental challenge to actually try it.

The Joe is made of 100% silicone which means it is made of non-porous food-grade materials. It is latex free, phthalates free and hypoallergenic. All good news for someone like me who has a crabby, sensitive nether region. The one draw back is you can't use silicone based lube with this product. I have found System Jo Anal Lubricant works so well that I didn't miss the silicone lube I have grown to love.

Mr. Rock is 4 inches long in total and has a lovely flared base that will not allow the toy to slip inside during play. I found that I could sit on the plug quite comfortably and didn't have to re-lube as often as I have with rubber plugs.
The toy measures 1 1/4 inches in diameter which makes it challenging for novices but a 'work up toy' for more advanced players.
The plug only weighs in at .2 pounds so it won't cause fatigue or slide out when you stand up.

The shape of the toy really lends itself to gentle stretching and the neck of the toy is pronounced enough to allow the sphincter to 'rest'. It felt good to feel the muscle actually gripping and relaxing around the toy. This was a first for me!
The Silicone has enough to give to allow for comfortable insertion and wear but it's rigid enough that it inserts easily without bending.

Cleaning this baby is as easy as some hot water and soap but you could boil it, wash it in the dishwasher (without detergent), or use commercial toy cleaners. Though this is a non-porous toy it is much less clean up if you use a condom when sharing, or even when using it for yourself. It's not necessary to use a condom when you aren't planning on sharing Joe Rock but if you don't like dealing with poo it can make cleanup as simple as pulling off the condom!

This toy doesn't offer much for vaginal play or oral stimulation. This is an anal toy only.

I used this on Sigel first and he wasn't as impressed as it really didn't reach his p spot the way some of our other toys do. I was playing one night, alone, and realized the toy I was using was just a bit too thin. I pulled this one out and was still a bit intimidated. Still, I was wanting something bigger!
After lubing it up I slowly inserted it and WOW!
It stayed put through all the gyrations and filled me up just right.

Though I am not quite, yet, a total anal enthusiast I have had many a pleasurable encounter with Joe Rock.
He hasn't developed any funky smells and is still the perfect size for me. He hasn't reate to any of the silicone lubes I have tried with him and he takes sitting in the sun on my bedside table well. Overall this is a great little plug!
