The L'Amour Premium Silicone Beaded Probe by Cal Exotics is the pretty pink love child of an anal probe and Anal beads. The beaded probe is best suited to anal play. Theoretically, you could use it for vaginal play, but it is slim and not designed to really stimulate that way.

I lack a prostate, so I can't speak on how well it will work for stimulating one, but I can say that the beads create interesting sensations during insertion. I wasn't a huge fan because it was a little disorienting to have large and then small spaces, but I think that is just my psychology.

The curved handle makes this a toy I would not recommend for long term wear. It's just too big to be comfortable trying to go about errands... or sitting.

This is made from a great silky smooth silicone. It's firm enough to make using it easy, but it is flexible enough to bend to your anatomy which I think is the perfect combination for anal toys. I have anal toys made of very plush materials, and they are frustrating to use. This doesn't have that problem at all. It retains it's shape, but will flex.

This had no odor or taste from the package. Silicone never does which is another reason why I love it. Also, silicone is 10 on EF's safety scale. It doesn't have latex or pthalates.

The L'amour has 5 bulges that get gradually larger with slim, straight portions in between. The largest bulge has a circumference of 4" which is a really good size for me and I consider myself and intermediate anal player. It's a size that I can easily accept most days without a warm up at all. Beginners may be able to handle with toy due to the beaded nature. One can just stop at the size that fits best.

The beads are not sitting exactly straight, but I can't tell you why because I didn't notice at all during use.

The L'Amour is 6.75" in total length, so it will fit tucked away in a makeup bag for travel. I don't think there is anyway to pass this off as anything other than what it is: an anal toy.

Inserting this was a completely new experience for me. I have never tried anal beads, so I wasn't quite sure what to expect. The beads very gradually increase which was unintimidating. There is no way to use this in a harness and it doesn't have a suction cup so you are stuck manually inserting it. I found that it was interesting to have the gradualness of it, but I overall am just not a fan of the sensation. I guess I am too goal oriented and just like plugs that are gradual all the way.

I liked the curved handle just for the thought of retrieval, but as you will see, that wasn't a concern.

I prefer to use anal toys during vaginal intercourse with my partners, so that's what I tried with these. I was happily situated on top and started grinding away into bliss. I found the length on these to provide almost too much sensation, but it was totally fun. That's when I felt it. That feeling. That ohmygodit'scomingoutfeeling. The first ball popped out. I didn't feel the entire toy slip out so I continued my thing. Then it happened again. And again 30 seconds later.

Long story short, no matter how hard I tried, I couldn't keep this in. I guess it's a toy that can be used solely during foreplay just fine, but for me, it's not even going to work for that because of my dislike of the sensation in general.

Silicone toys require a little bit of maintenance, but I think it is totally worth it. Silicone lubricants can not be used with this toy, nor can it be stored touching other silicone toys. Doing either of these things will degrade the material.

I store it in it's original packaging because it is small and works perfectly, but you could also store it in a ziplock bag, a cloth bag, or a sock.

Cleaning this toy is super easy because there aren't any crevices or ridges. Most times I spray mine with a toy cleaner and rinse it off, but every few uses I will fully sanitize all my silicone and glass toys by boiling them.

This came in a small clear plastic box that was easy to open. You can see the probe easily through the plastic, so I wouldn't call it completely discreet. The package on the front and back refers to it as a probe, but it never actually says where you put it. Inside of the package, the toy sits in a plastic tray.

The box for this toy just fits it, so I use it for storage. I hate it when silicone toys come in packages that are much too large for the toy and thus are not useful for storage. I was very happy with the packaging on this.
