Asteroid Butt Plug From Tantus



This is another case of my eyes being bigger than my ass! I didn’t pay attention to the dimensions when I ordered it. Please, check out the reviews and pay attention to sizes when ordering toys online. This one looks so cool and I wanted it so badly. I have used it vaginally and I do like that very full feeling that it gives me. Even with a lot of warming up I was not able to fully insert this anally, so now I have another goal.

The Asteroid is made from Silicone, the silicone is flexible and softer, it has some “give” to it. The silicone has no taste and no smell to it. It has the neat sherbet coloring. The silicone is hypoallergenic, and non porous, it is latex and phthalates free. This is the type of silicone that is slightly tacky and collects lint and hair. It does have a suction cup base. The plug is smooth with a tiered type of effect to it.



The total length of the plug is 5 ½ inches with the insertable area of 4 2/2 inches. The base or flange area is one inch off of the shaft area which should be sufficient enough to stop the plug from being sucked up anally. At it’s widest it has a diameter of 1 ½ inches. The first ridge has a diameter of 1 ¼ inch.



The silicone is easy to care for you can throw it in the dishwasher, boil it, wipe it down with a 10% bleach solution. You can use antibacterial soaps and water, toy sprays or Eden wipes on it. There is no special storage for this one. A representative from Tantus let us know on Twitter that 100% silicone toys can be stored touching each other, Tantus toys can be stored touching each other. But, If your toy isn’t 100% silicone it could hurt this one. I really like to store all my dildo’s and toys in plastic baggies so they don’t collect more dust and they store easily.

The Asteroid comes in the Tatus clear plastic box that I really don’t like because the plastic breaks and then the edges get sharp and they can literally cut you.




I really do like this one but I am only able to insert it up to the orange area. This is even after a lot of warming up. Maybe at some point and time I will get to the point that I can use it. I am able to fully insert the boosty from Fun Factory but the shape is different and the silicone has a dig gerent density to it.

The fact that I cannot use this one is not the toy’s fault it is mine for not paying attention. I would definitely say that this is for experienced anal players.

This one is still too big for comfortable anal play for me. Honestly it works great for vaginal play and wild fullness. I like that the silicone is not too firm. This is definitely for an experienced anal player.
