The Big End is a premium grade silicone butt plug from Doc Johnson. It is a sizable butt plug that those who are inexperienced in analplay may shy away from. Those with a little more experience though will find this a plug a true pleasure to play with. It provides a superior sense of presence in your ass while remaining comfortable for extended periods of play.

We purchased the Charcoal Grey version (purple is also an option) which really looks more like hematite grey with its shimmering metallic-like flakes inside. This gives the toy a look of depth and quite frankly makes it look far more expensive than it really is. It is a fairly standard shape, but it is well-made with no seams or imperfections in its surface. The material is 100% body-safe premium silicone. It is firm yet flexible and resilient. You can easily squeeze the plug and depress the sides. The neck is extremely flexible which makes this a very comfortable toy ; it is far more comfortable when moving around than many other more rigid plugs I have tried. Because the neck is so flexible, it is easier to insert while holding the base of the bulb than if you were holding the flared base of the toy. The Big End’s shape makes it very easy to insert if you are ready for its girth. Even if this is a challenging size, the shape makes it easier to insert than a differently designed toy. Just take your time, take a few deep breaths, and use lots of lube.

The Big End has some impressive dimensions for a butt plug, but I don’t think it is too large for someone with moderate experience in anal play. The overall length of the Big End is five inches. Four inches of this is the bulbous plug portion, with an additional inch in insertable length for the neck. The diameter of the bulb portion of the plug is a very generous 1 ¾ inches. The neck portion has a diameter of about 7/8 inches. This narrow neck in relation to the girthy bulb helps the Big End stay comfortably seated in your ass with little chance that it may slide out during play. The base of the Big End is shaped like a rectangle with the ends rounded off. The base measures 1 ¾ inches wide by 3 inches long. The shape of it makes it fit fairly comfortably between your cheeks for extend wear and the ability to get up and move around. If you are looking for something even larger, Doc Johnson makes an even larger version called the Super Big End that is 2.25 inches in diameter.

The Big End needs to be handled just as you would any other silicone toy. Silicone lubes will destroy this toy. Otherwise, cleaning is a breeze. The Big End is non-porous so it can be sterilized and shared between partners. It responds extremely temperature, quickly warming up to match your body. It is also extremely durable and should, with proper care, last for years and years.

In the end, I like the Big End quite a bit. The size of this toy definite gives you a sense of fullness and accomplishment when you get it in. It is, however, very comfortable for long periods of use due mostly to the flexibility of the material.
