Overall I wanted to believe the hype and think that I could throw my refill required enema bag away, but for me I found that this wasn't the case. The time consuming shower head installation, difficult insertion, and uncomfortable position Negatives were not made up for by the constant water Positive. I do not like wasting money, but after these few attempts I don't see myself using it again. The CSS is a brilliant idea but just didn't work for me, 2/5.

Pros
Endless supply of water, Hose doesn't knot or bind.
Cons
Tricky to insert, Short hose equates to Standing Enema
I did my research when I contemplated on making this purchase. It had quite a few good reviews and I began to wonder if I had found the answer to the tedious task of... enemizing? An enema that you didn't have to refill? I'm all aboard for that! So I purchased the Shower Shot with fingers crossed.
It arrived with all three parts; the hose, the pseudo-cucumber, and the padded rings. I unscrewed the shower head and got it installed after a few quick turns with the wrench. My shower stall only has one handle to calculate the heat and pressure so it was either slow and cool or fast and warm. Personally, I'm not too terribly sensitive to temperatures so the fluctuating water wouldn't bother me so much. Then came the problems:
I immediately realized that the hose was much shorter than i had estimated; I stand 6' tall and it barely made it past my hips. Needless to say laying down, squatting, sitting on the the tub's edge, or getting into any comfortable position would make the CSShot impossible to use. So as I would assume many do, I settled for bracing myself against the wall like I was being frisked for drugs. After lubing up both the plug and socket I turned the water on and attempted to insert. It took some tricky maneuvering and self coaching before I was able to barely get the head in. There are holes in the head, but unless you get the whole thing in the water will just spout out the exposed holes. I tried pushing it in further but at that point it just kept crumpling against me (warning: getting frustrated and trying to "muscle" it in only results in pain). So for the first attempt I barely got any water in me. The main problem was that having the water running through it while trying to insert it washes away all the lube! And unfortunately the CSS doesnt have a handy clip-valve to interrupt the water feed like a traditional enema bag.
Second attempt; I tried to get a little smarter and after I dried both sides I lubed them back up and attempted to insert before turning on the water. This time I realized that the flowing water is what supplies the perforated disco-stick's solidity; it was like shoving a straw into a key lock in the dark. But luckily it worked out after I semi-twisted it into a spiral to give it some structure. The water came through and it filled me up pretty quickly! However after emptying myself I found that I was back at the first problem. I tried to reinsert while wet but as before that didn't work. I dried my self then re-lubed but afterwards the process of dry-relube-release-rinse-dry-relube-release-rinse became too tedious to continue. I finally just switched back to the traditional E-Bag and finished my session thinking how simple this was before dealing with the Colt Shower Show uninstallation.
Not being one to judge by first impressions I tried it again a few weeks later but sadly came to the same results. I wanted this to work so much.
The metallic hose is light and slinky and the coils prevent knotting. The end that attaches to the shower feed will need a wrench to tighten or it will leak everywhere.
The probe screws onto the other end of the hose and is made out of a light rubber/jelly. The holes are located throughout the probe piece but does not provide any roughness.
The dong isn't anything to be worried about. 4" is pretty small and the circumference traditionally should not be much of a problem. The flaw however comes from its genius; it is hollow and perforated to allow water to endlessly flow from it to you. However, it sacrifices structure and a solid form so makes insertion a dexterous challenge.
The short hose forces you to have a standing enema if you have a shower head that projects from above. Already having a corded/detachable shower head might fix this problem as the CSShot might be able to screw onto it. You can buy a 8' hose to replace the one it comes with but I am again not sure if the CSS will be compatible. (an 8' shower hose runs about $20+ by the way, basically doubling the CSS cost)
The CSS did what it was designed for once I was able to get it in. It was nice not to have to refill it constantly and when it filled me up it felt quite sensational. Where it did connect to the shower pipe it began to leak a little, but a few more turns of the wrench fixed that problem immediately.
I am not a microbiologist but before and after all play I clean my belongings with a mild soap and warm water. The CSShot makes cleaning a bit easier as well since it spouts water itself. The hose can be coiled into a tighter circle for storage if the probe is detached.
While my experience is a negative one I believe the CSS can work better for other people. Purchasing a longer hose would allow a user to get into a more relaxed position. Having a shower system that allows you to control water pressure and temperature separately would be a plus. And finally, water based lubricants will be washed away instantly; SILICONE based lubricants are a bit more water safe and will definitely aid in repeated application.
Follow-up commentaryI still don't like it2 months after original review
I still have yet to find the "secret" to using the Colt Shower Shot (if there is one). Lubrication is still an issue as the CSS washes it away instantly. The installation of the CSS isn't hard technically, but it has become a chore that takes longer than the mood timer provides. I am still resigned to throwing it away once I can stomach accepting that I've wasted $20.

ToyingCouple: Thanks, in my last review some feedback said I needed more detail, I'm glad I was able to provide enough this time around
Miss Nessa: XD Glad to be of service! I still get nervous posting reviews but positive feedback like yours helps that issue!

Great job, thanks for the review!

This was an incredibly useful review. I've never taken the plunge and "enemized" myself, but I learned a lot both about the process, and about why this product probably wouldn't be a winner for me, either. I need something to be quite firm in order for insertion to be easy.

Nice review. Thanks for telling us about this

Good review! Did you have to insert it fully to get the full benefit of it, when you did use it? Also, sorry it didn't work for you. ):!
