It has been a while now that I have bee searching for that special anal plug, the one that a guy can put in with no discomfort and wear for more than half an hour without feeling uncomfortable, a plug that gives pleasure and relaxation, and stays in with little to no effort during sex. This was probably her favorite thing about the plug, and when trying it for myself, it is mine too.

I have always, no matter what the size or shape, had some sort of discomfort in the process of inserting an anal toy. Once it's in, there's never been pain, and removing is always easy. It is just the insertion that kills me. For the very first time in my life I can honestly say I had no pain inserting an anal plug. That is a huge pro to me and just a huge deal, altogether.

The Ryder by Tantus is made of 100% pure silicone. It is medical-grade and non-porous. This means you can share this toy if it has been properly cleaned first. My wife, however, loves to use this all the time and refuses to share simply because she wants it all for herself. That's another reason I had to get my own.

It is smooth just like your regular glossy silicone toy. It is not matte, and is pretty slippery. When adding lubricant, it is even more slippery. You want to use water-based lubricant only. I accidentally used oil-based and saw no issues, but I know that is a no-no so I don't recommend it. The glossy finish really helps upon insertion.

You can almost squeeze this toy due to its rubbery consistency, but not a whole lot. I like it because I find my anal muscles contracting during use and that makes for a fantastic anal orgasm during sex. If it were simply solid, it wouldn't feel so good.

I think this could be an intermediate user's toy, and even a beginner's toy. I am still in between beginner and intermediate, myself. Any toy this wide would kill me usually, but this one didn't bother me at all.

The size of this toy is pretty large, but since the shape doesn't shock the sphincter, I can see a curious beginner successfully using this toy. It takes up 3/4 of my hand in length (4.25 inches) and the diameter is 1.5 inches. That is literally 4.75 inches around (circumference) and a good 3.75 inches of insertable length. Weighing half a pound (I love heavy anal toys), your ass feels full and you can't get enough. Definitely a GREAT fit for any user.

It is absolutely discreet looking. I have no idea how someone could immediately relate this toy to be something sexual if it is their first time seeing it. Great size for travel and fits right into my wife's makeup bag or easily in my duffel bag.

As I mentioned, this doesn't shock the sphincter muscle, as it has an extremely gradual curve. It goes in easily (I find it best to insert while laying on your side since it is large, but you can do it in really any position without discomfort) and can be taken out even easier. Because of this, I expected this plug to fall out easily. It actually stays in perfectly all by itself, even for my wife who seems to have that problem more than myself.

The handle of the plug fits comfortably between the butt cheeks and makes this plug easier to wear underneath clothes or during sex. It doesn't feel like there's a sex toy trying to pry its way out of your ass.

This plug performed exceptionally well. Often, my wife will say she loves things and I'll believe it--only to be let down. Truth is, most things only work well for some people. I have seen nothing but fantastic reviews for this product and heard nothing but good things. Now those good things are coming out of my mouth! The Tantus Ryder is, and I quote, "The BEST anal toy available." The garbage bag full of toys I've thrown away should be enough proof that this one is my soul mate! I'm never getting rid of it!

Washing is fairly easy: anti-bacterial soap and warm water is enough on its own. There are no crevasses in which fluid can sit, so scrubbing isn't necessary. When you're done, let it sit to dry and store wherever you'd like.

Like I said, silicone lubricant cannot be used with this toy as it is made of silicone itself. Water-based lubricant is the best choice.

My overall experience, although it has only been a day, is amazing. I'm actually wearing the Ryder as I write this review. I have never had such a full feeling in my ass from any toy I have ever used, regardless of size. The texture of the silicone is smooth, and the curve is gradual so insertion and removal is pain-free and 100% comfortable. It is a completely safe-to-use toy and I have no fears about this toy housing germs or making me sick. Tantus is truly is great company.
