Great butt plug for a beginner...
If you are just beginning to try anal play, I would definitely recommend this toy. I would also be prepared to replace it after a little while with something a little more substantial.

Pros
Very smooth, flexible and narrow, good length, large flare at the bottom.
Cons
Not a big enough bulge to stay in place during rigorous sex play.
My husband and I have been wanting to do more anal play recently, so I tried out a different butt plug. It was made of hard plastic and was definitely too big for me to use as a beginner. So I decided to go much smaller until I worked up enough experience. The Blue Thunder Elite Tool butt plug, by Doc Johnson, was just what I had in mind.
The day it arrived, I opened up the package, expecting the same feeling of nervousness that I had when the last one arrived. Instead, I looked at its small size and thought, "I can take that... no problem." So that night, my husband and I tried it out. It's made of jelly, so it's a little difficult to get in because it's so flexible. After lubing it up, it popped right in my ass and gave me a nice, moderately-full sensation. My husband played with it a bit while it was in my ass, turning it around, pushing it in farther, etc. before he just couldn't take any more. Needless to say, it was a very pleasurable session!!
The Blue Thunder Elite Tool is rather narrow, only 1 1/4 inches, which makes it great for a beginner. I didn't have to work up to it at all. Now that I've used it a few times, I realize that it really should be a bit bigger in the middle to make it stay in place. My husband was fucking me one time with the butt plug in and it kept popping it out of my ass!! Not exactly what I had in mind when I got it. (Oh well, another of those "laughter in the darkness" moments...) It also would be good to start with if you're working up to another, larger butt plug.
The flare at the bottom is big enough to keep your butt from "swallowing it." Another great thing about the flare on the bottom is that it suctions to any flat surface. I have used it to masturbate by suctioning it to a chair and sitting on it. I was also able to bounce up and down on it, which I have a feeling is not the intended purpose of a butt "plug," but it did the job and the orgasm was intense.

Good review. Do you cover this plug with a condom when using it? How do you clean and store it?
-
I haven't used a condom on it yet because I'm the only one using it. (My husband isn't that adventurous yet...) I clean rinse it with water and then spray it down with Before & After Cleaner. It is not only anti-bacterial but has a nice smell to it. I'm still working on the storage part of it. Since it's jelly it collects all sorts of lint (like from my feather hancuffs). I'm going to have to invest in a good storage box soon.

for keeping a plug in during intercourse, you might want to look into finding a plug with a more pronounced flare-- something like the njoy plugs with a very narrow neck and wider plug will give it a better chance from not slipping. and since this is jelly, even though you aren't sharing- condoms are recommended as the material contains chemicals that some studies have shown to cause cancer in test animals and it is also porous so it will harbor bacteria that cleaning just wont' get out. condoms will also extend the life of your toy. glad you're liking this one.

Please don't think the only reason to use condoms is for when toys are being shared. As Saurou says, Jelly contains a checmical called phthalates which has been linked to cancer in lab rats. It's also porous so the introduction of bacteria causes an accelerated breakdown and also opens you up to repeat bacterial infections because even though you're washing it with soap and water or using a toy cleaner, it isn't becoming sterilized. So bacteria will just keep being reintroduced every time you use the toy.
