This is, though the only set I've used, by far the best set of anal beads I have ever seen. They are extremely smooth and go in without too much resistance. They are extremely flexible between the beads, despite being a solid piece. Honestly, despite being a relative newcomer to anal toys, they were extremely comfortable for extended wear and were barely noticeable if not manipulated.

As opposed to some silicone toys I have, it is extremely smooth, even when dry, so you can run your hand over it with little to no resistance. In terms of lube, use water based, as silicone based may damage the toy. That said, I found that the water based lube I use most often stuck quite well to the surface of the toy. The material is quite pliable, the beads each having a pleasing amount of give to them when squeezed.

All the beads are approximately the same size; though, at least on my set, the ones inserted first are just the tiniest bit smaller. The beads themselves are an excellent shape, like little strawberries, as one other reviewer noted; going in easy, and giving a wonderful and perfect amount of resistance when removed. The beads are a little bigger than my thumb - maybe 1.25 cm in diameter? Nothing too daunting. In fact, I was surprised at how small the item was in all dimensions.

The final bead, it should be noted, is not completely silicone. It is silicone for the front half, and plastic (which becomes the rear loop/handle) for the rear half. If you choose to insert the last bead, it's not a problem, per se - I could not really feel the difference - but the seam is there. It's not a big seam, as the toy is very well made, so it doesn't need extra cleaning. I personally prefer to have the last bead in so that as little as possible is hanging out of me.

This is just an awesome toy. It excels in every aspect and gives more than I expected. The price is great; silicone durability and safety that I can afford on a college budget. I love this toy and use it regularly, with no signs of wear or tear. The little loop at the end is perfect for pulling it out (or having someone else do so) with little hassle; just one finger as might be expected from the size of the loop.

As noted above, this toy should be used exclusively with water based lubes to avoid damage to the toy. Keep it separated somehow (bag, etc.) from the rest of your toys, especially silicone ones, to keep the finish of the silicone nice and smooth. This is made of pure silicone, so for cleaning I recommend placing the toy in boiling water for 2-3 minutes, to properly sterilize it if you are sharing it. If it's just you, soap and water will do.

The toy came in a plastic clamshell, with not at all discrete packaging. The toy is clearly on display, and the image on the front shows a naked (but not lewd) man and woman. It doesn't pretend to be a luxury or novelty item. It knows what it is - something you or your partner[s] will stick up one of your collective butts. It wears that badge proudly.
