This toy from Nobessence (they call it the Romp) has become my "go to" item in the toychest. It is a lightweight wooden plug with about 4 insertable inches and a maximum thickness of 1.5". The curve tracks the natural curve of the anal canal and it applies excellent pressure to the prostate. It is easy to insert, and feels very natural once it is inside. Because it is lightweight, it is perfect for moving around with- whether you want to wear it for a walk around town or keep it in when you are playing with your partner. It has a handle that keeps it from sliding too deep into the rectum and that allows you to remove it easily when you are done playing.

As with all Nobessence toys, this is very well made. I got one in a cherry wood. It is perfectly finished and sealed so that it is as smooth as glass. Splinters are not a concern at all. When you don't have it inside of you, you will enjoy running your fingers over it and playing with it. It is very inviting. Because it is so smooth and inviting, it is perfect for beginners. I will discuss below how the shape and size make it ideal for intermediate users as well.

I happen to find curvy toys very seductive and inviting. This toy is no exception. The insertion point is fairly modest (about 1"), so it goes in very easily. It flares to a 1.5" bump, which you will definitely feel when it opens the sphincter (satisfying the intermediate user as well). However, the progression is fairly gradual, so it doesn't feel as difficult as some 1.5" toys can be at first. You have the option of inserting it with the handle facing to your front or your back. I have found having the handle pointing to your rear makes insertion easier. I also think it is more comfortable resting in that position. The one downside to that is that you do feel some minor pressure from the handle when the toy is fully inserted (especially if you wear it for an extended period of time). It is extremely discreet and lightweight. You could carry it in your pocket. Your average TSA officer would probably have no idea what it is (I guess that makes it ideal for travel!)

This baby performs! You will want to move around with this. Bend over, walk up and down the stairs, take the trash out. Anything to allow the motion to increase the prostate stimulation. It is not a stretching feeling (for you size queens), so if that is what you crave, this may not be for you (maybe they will make a slightly larger one, and I will happily review it for you size queens). However, the Romp gives good sustained pressure on the prostate. I wish I could wear it to work, but I'd be too worried about being aroused all day long! The only negative is the feel of the handle facing to the back if you leave it in too long. Perhaps more of a T shaped handle would solve that problem.

Because this is high quality well-sealed wood, it is non-porous and can be washed with soap and water or in a dishwasher. I would not recommend boiling it (totally not necessary). I recommend keeping the box it came in and using that for storage. It's best to keep it out of sunlight and away from too much moisture. It's very well made, but you will want to avoid dropping it or banging it into things, which might create uneven areas in the wood finish.

The packaging is stylish. Nobessence toys come in a box that slides in and out of its frame. You can use it to store the toy. There are no real instructions that come with it, but I wouldn't have wanted to delay my using it by the minute or two it would have taken to read the instructions anyway!

I used it this morning so the experience would be fresh in my mind when I wrote this. I am surprised the police did not come to my door given how loudly I was moaning in pleasure! Really. It hits the spot perfectly and encourages you to move around and find different positions because it is so lightweight and comfortable. I could recommend my favorite positions, but I think the fun is in discovering that yourself!

My wife is tolerant of my toys, but not a big fan of them herself. She does not like it when the toy gets in the way or makes a particular position not work so well. There are no complaints with the Romp. I feel as light as a feather and can do all of the usual acrobatics (wishful thinking!) It is perfect for either solo or partner play.
