These are anal beads shaped like hearts, hence the name (LuvBeads). We used them for foreplay as a prelude to anal sex. As far as anal beads go, they are pretty standard besides the fact they are shaped like hearts. In total there are six beads ranging from small to moderate size. The handle (Shaped like a heart as well) makes sure you wont be losing it anytime soon.

The beads themselves are made of Jelly, so don't try to boil it as that will just destroy it. Jelly comes in a variety of colors, and a non-offensive smell. Sharing is also out of the question unless using a condom, but the nature of the toy itself doesn't lend itself well to condoms, so no sharing. Now on to the good news, since it's Jelly you can use silicone or water based lubes without worry. As far as texture there is almost none. Since they are anal beads, they are made smooth for easy penetration. The hearts themselves enter and remove anally really easily, as they can move around and bend just fine when inserting.

The heart shapes worked well for warm up, but we ended up needing a little more for her to be ready for me. The size is best suited for anal beginners and not so much for advanced users. Even the biggest bead is only 1 and 1/8th inches, so unless you're really thin then it doesn't work so well for warming up. Although it did serve its purpose, we where left wanting more.

The best part about LuvBeads is the fact that they are shaped like hearts. Unfortunately, that's where the good ends besides the open ended use of lubes. The size was lacking, the material is only a 2 on Eden's material safety, and being unable to sterilize it easily is the biggest shortcoming of this toy.

Another upside is that it doesn't seem to attract lint as much as our other Silicone toys. To clean, use warm water and some toy cleaner (You can get some here on Eden). Do not use hard soaps, or you risk damaging your toy. To store we just drop it into our toy box after cleaning and it stays there until we need it again, but that may not be for a while.

If these beads where a little larger and made of silicone they would have been perfect. This just isn't the case. At the end of the night, they just got pushed aside in our toy box in favor of pure silicone plugs to warm me and her up.

She laid back as I went down on her. After warming her up a bit with my mouth, I lubed up her back side and pushed the first bead in. Slowly I worked the next one in and kept going until they where all inside of her. She did enjoy the feeling (These where our first beads), but the whole idea of them was to use them as a prelude to anal sex. When it came time for her to bend down in front of me, I removed the beads and starting pushing myself in. She asked me to go slow, a sure sign they didn't do the job we intended. Don't get me wrong - we both had a good time, but found ourselves wanting more from it.
