This was my first (of many) glass sex toys. There are a few things I really liked it about from the very beginning. I love the swirled ridge that runs along the length of the toy. I'm a sucker for texture both vaginally and anally. I've used this toy in both places, and it was great. If you like a little less ribbed texture, turn the toy as you insert and remove it. The weight and hardness took a little bit of adjustment the first few times I used it, but I've really grown to enjoy this little wonder. For even more added sensation, put it in a bowl of either hot or ice water a few minutes before playing with the toy. That adds a whole other level of sensation play that will make you or your partner go "wow!"

I was initially drawn to it because of the fact that I can run the toy through the dishwasher for cleaning. I hate having a toy that I'm never sure is totally clean. With this one, it's super easy to wash. Use an antibacterial soap and hot water, a commercial toy cleaner, or run it through the dishwasher on the sanitize cycle. The hardest thing about the maintenance is remembering to remove it from your dishwasher or drying rack before you have a guest over. But then again, if you have friends like ours, they will probably just ask for a review / demonstration.

It's glass, so you can use either a silicone or water-based lube, your preference. Because of the smoothness of the material I find that I need far less lubricant with this toy than a lot of the jelly or silicone toys.

If you are looking to try a glass toy for the first time, I would highly recommend this one. It's inexpensive, easy to use, and versatile. I will give you a couple of bits of advice though: (1) glass toys are addictive ... I think I now own five or six. (2) You don't want to put a glass toy in a carry-on bag through the airport because the scanners pick up the glass as a liquid. You should have seen the look on the security person's face when they pulled the toy out of my bag and then asked me to explain what it was.
