Ripple is a fantastic toy for people trying anal for the first time. The smooth round shape allows it to be slid in and out easily and the increasing size lets you work your way up to a larger size toy (like the large Ripple by Tantus). The whole toy was firm, but flexible in a way that allowed you to get the thrusting ability you need with the gentleness you want.

I wouldn't use Ripple for fast thrusting: the bumps are nice with a slow thrust, but can feel too rough if used too fast.

I found it was also interesting to use orally (when clean) for the feel of the round parts sliding over my tongue and how excited it made my husband to watch each little "bead" pop out from between my lips.

It's a little hard to get a grip on the base if you're trying to play by yourself, but a partner should have no problems with the flared bottom. If you're into trying DP, the wide base can be pushed against by your partner's stomach if you have sex doggy-style. (That position also allows them to use their hands to control it if they want)

Ripple has no taste or odor that I could detect. If you've read my other reviews, you know this is a big selling point for toys with me. It also didn't have the slick coating that a lot of toys seem to have when you first get them out of the box.

This toy is easy to clean with soap and water, but can also be boiled or cleaned with a bleach solution. It is silicone, so it needs to be used with water based lubes.

Ripple in purple is a pretty toy; perfectly symmetrical and vaguely opalescent, it could almost pass as a ring-holder (but not quite!) It stands up nicely on its base for storage or rest. It's definitely a toy I wouldn't be ashamed to give as a gift.
