The Mood Naughty Large Plug by Doc Johnson is a butt plug. This plug is meant to be used anally and once inserted to just remain within the anal cavity. You can contract your anal sphincter muscles while the toy is inserted for some extra stimulation.

Butt plugs for males and females provide different sensations
For females a butt plug pushes against the vaginal muscles. This can create more intense pleasure for the woman and a "tighter" feeling for the male. The anus also has lots of nerves and they are pleasant to stimulate. There is also a unique sensation of having something inserted into your anus.

For males a butt plug can press against the prostate. Pressing against the prostate provides a male with sexual pleasure. Some men also say it provides stronger, more intense, and longer orgasms. And then as stated above there is simply the stimulation of the nerves around the anus.

I would say this is a beginner toy. It has a diameter of 1.25 inches. It is relatively small. This was the first toy my girlfriend ever used and it was completely painless for her to insert after some warmup with a finger. Toys do come in a smaller size, but I do not think it makes sense to buy them. You can use or two fingers to warm up this toy and have it insert easily. I think the fact this was the first toy my girlfriend ever used and it was completely painless is a testament to that. Especially for a butt plug.

This toy is very safe for use anally. It has a nice and big flared base that will prevent it from ever getting stuck in the anal cavity.

The Mood Naughty Large Plug is made out of 100% food grade silicone. Silicone is one of my favorite toy materials for a lot of reasons. For firstly it is extremely body safe. It is hypoallergenic, latex free, phthalate free, and non-porous. Because it is non porous it is extremely easy to clean. In porous materials bacteria can be in the pores and then it is impossible to clean. With a non-porous material there can only be bacteria on the surface of the toy, so cleaning with soap and water will kill all of them. The toy has no odor and no taste (if you have just washed it of course) which is nice. If I am going to use a toy anally I do not want it to retain and odor. Silicone is rated a 10/10 on EF's safety rating and for good reason. Silicone is a great material.

In terms of silicone I would describe this toy as having more of a satin silky smooth finish to it. It is definitely less stick then some other silicone toys I own. This is nice because it tends to pick up less lint, dust, and other particles than a stickier silicone.

This toy is very smooth and has no texture making is very good for beginners. Silicone is a squishy material, so the toy does have some give to it. Silicone is also very flexible, so you can easily bend this toy. Silicone is also nice because it warms quickly to body temperature. I do not think this gives it a realistic feeling, but it does make it comfortable.

This toy follows the classic butt plug shape. The head is narrow and small and gradually gets larger till it reaches a diameter of 1.25 inches. After this is quickly tapers down to a small neck which when it reaches the end of the plug becomes perpendicular to the small neck. This is a relatively small anal toy. I would definitely classify it as a beginner toy. I think anybody could use this toy anally if they warmed up with their fingers before inserting it and used lubricant. I think it is a good size for somebody new to anal play, but for someone like me who is now experienced I want something larger. This toy is relatively small, so I think it would be possible to take this discreetly while you travel. Since it is made of silicone it is not going to set off any alarms either. The classic but plug design tapers downwards to a very small diameter to make it comfortable for the anal sphincter muscles. I like the T shaped ends of toys. You can turn it so it follows your butt crack and this makes it more comfortable then a round base (which can press into your butt cheeks and cause very mild discomfort)

Overall I think the classic design of butt plugs works well. It is very gender friendly and it provides good anal stimulation. Being a male I do like toys that have a curve in them for increased prostate stimulation. A toy like this will have some slight prostate stimulation by just taking up space and therefore putting some pressure on the prostate. I actually do not know if women benefit from a curve in a butt plug. I would imagine it would put some pressure on the vaginal walls and potentially increase stimulation, but a classic fit such as this might also be more comfortable.

I do think this toy performs quite well. With a small silicone neck I was unsure if this toy would be too flexible and hard to insert, but it was not. It was quite easy to insert this toy. This is a simple toy. It is a butt plug, and it works well as a butt plug. When you insert this toy you are going to have pleasant anal stimulation. There were no sharp seams, there was nothing pointy, so I have no complaints. It did exactly what it was supposed to.

As I mentioned previously I like the T shaped handle. It provides more comfort when the toy is worn for a longer period of time. It fits nicely in the crack between your buttcheeks and makes this comfortable if you are wanting to wear this toy for a long time which is possible. There is nothing I can think of that would prevent you from wearing this for a long time. Some people do actually use butt plugs with a harness for penetrative sex. The one downside of the T shaped handle is that this is not possible. Harnesses require a round base to work properly. But the T shaped handle does make it easy to thrust if you were wanting to thrust with this toy manually by hand.

The only complaint I can think of with this toy is size. Personally I prefer something that is more filling and has more prostate stimulation, but there are people who this toy is going to be the exact size. So you just need to keep in mind how large of a butt plug you want when buying one.

Because this toy is made out of silicone it is very easy to maintain. Silicone is completely non-porous so it will not harbor any bacteria or fecal matter. To clean this toy you can just wash it with warm soapy water. This is what I do. If you are going to switch partners with it or just want to sterilize it you can wash it in a 10% bleach solution, boil it for three minutes, or stick it in the dishwasher on the top rack with no soap. This should be cleaned with soap and water after every use

Silicone toys are best to store away from each other, because they can interact with each other and cause damage to each other. I store mine in a Ziploc bag. As long as it is stored away from other silicone toys you would not need to use a bag.

This toy is made of silicone and should not be used with a silicone based lube. It should only be used with a water or an oil based lube. I use mine with astroglide or K-Y jelly.

This toy can collect dust, so a quick rinse before use is never a bad idea. That is true with almost every toy though

The packaging as you can see is quite simple. The plug comes in a black box with a clear see through piece of plastic where you can see the plug. The back tells you the features of the toy. I was initially confused by what all the dots meant. By after closer look I realized only the dots with a "hole punched out" or a black dot in them are the features of the toy.

Overall the packaging is quite simple, but not very discreet. The packaging does look fancy enough that I would be happy giving the toy in its package as a gift. It does not scream luxury, but it does look nice. There are no instructions with this toy, so I decided to make some

Bit of a joke there, but I do not think a butt plug needs instructions. I do think it is a good idea to look online for how to properly play anally those. You want to warm up, you do not want to have anal then vaginal contact without washing your hands, you want some understanding of the anatomy etc. I would highly recommend reading something online about anal sex/anal play before you try it.
The box can be recycled along with the plastic if you desire. I would not store the toy in the packaging. It is too big and bulky and does work well for storage.
