This one just didn't do it for my wife. While the size was just right, the swirls down the shaft, combined with it being a very short shaft, just didn't really satisfy the wife. It had the potential to be a great toy for her, but it just didn't do it. Since it's a well made toy, but just didn't work for us, I'll give it 4 stars.
This is designed to be a juicer, meaning instead of thrusting it, you rotate it around to stimulate the outer lips with the small nubs on the base, and you stimulate inside the vagina with the swirls on the shaft. The shaft is pretty short, but if you are careful, some thrusting can be achieved with this. Also, the large head is great for rubbing on a partners lips to warm them up prior to insertion of this large headed toy.
Since this is made out of glass and has a flared base, it is also safe for anal play, and switching between partners and between anal and vaginal. The large head could be painful for beginners to insert, but with enough lube, the design of the Blue Spiral should provide tons of pleasure.
This toy is made out of borosilicate glass, which makes the glass very strong and shatter resistant. If you do happen to break this toy, instead of shattering into tiny pieces to hurt yourself with, it will break into larger chunks. This makes the glass safer for sex toy play, and it is a great material for that. Hard and unyielding, it is excellent at applying firm, direct pressure. But it is also great for temperature play, warm or cold, and for sterilizing for sharing between partners or your orifice of choice. The head has 6 vertical lines cut into it, and down its shaft it a nice blue swirl. Then placed at the base are 6 nubs extending out towards the one being pleased by this toy.
The head of the toy has 6 vertical lines cut into it, but I don't know if this adds to the stimulation or not. If it did, my wife didn't like these at all. Down the shaft of the toy is a blue spiral which I figured my wife would love moving against her lips. Then around the base where it comes into contact with the lips are 6 small nubs. The head has a 1 1/2 inch diameter that is also 1 1/2 inches tall, and it is connected to the 1 inch diameter shaft, that is 2 1/4 inches long. The base of the juicer has a 2 inch diameter, then there is a small 1 1/2 inch long handle at the very bottom.
Since my wife enjoys thrusting toys much more than g-spot or vibrating toys, I figured this would be a good match for her. The solid 1 1/2 inch head is close to her size limits, so I was very slow with this toy the first time we used it. I gave her some oral first, then started rubbing her lips with it to warm her up. She thoroughly enjoyed this and it really got her going. I then slowly started to push against her lips, and eventually the head slid in nicely and easy, just with her own natural lubricant. After inserting it all the way, I then tried to use it as a juicer. She felt absolutely nothing with this. I then went to short thrusts, since the toy is so short, and with the spiral detail on the shaft she did enjoy it some while on her back. We then flipped around, and she gave me oral while standing and thrusting the toy. This is when it became uncomfortable for her. We removed the toy and placed it aside as we continued with our fun. Afterwards, she said the toy didn't really do anything for her, so it doesn't seem like this one will get much use again.
Cleaning glass toys is an absolute breeze. For a typical cleaning, I just do warm water and anti-bacterial soap. If you have done anal play or about to share between partners, you can boil it for 3 to 5 minutes, place it in the top rack of the dishwasher without soap, or use a 10% bleach solution. I did notice when cleaning it with just water and soap, even though I scrubbed really well with my hand and nails, that I needed to use a tooth pick to get in between the lines on the head. Not that this is a big deal, but something to keep in mind. I have to do this for my wife's Sapphire Falls as well. For storage, I am keeping it in the black bag that was provided with the toy. Since my wife didn't really enjoy this toy, this is where it is going to stay. If it was a more popular toy, I would buy a better bag like the one from Eden to protect it.
The packaging for SSA glass toys is very simple and basic. It comes in a small protective pouch, and inside is your toy wrapped in bubble wrap. But this pouch, while a very nice touch, won't protect the toy from extreme dangers. More just like preventing it from banging against other toys while placed in a drawer or a larger toy bag. If I we loved this toy more I would buy a better bag for it, but since we don't, it will just stay in the included bag.

Follow-up commentaryI still don't like it10 months after original review
Having only tried a few glass toys, when we purchased this one I wasn't sure if it would be fantastic or just boring. And it turned out to be boring. Since the review we haven't pulled it out again, and it could possibly soon get the heave ho with a few of the other toys that have gone flop in our collection. There is nothing wrong with how the toy was made, its design just doesn't work for my wife.

@Rossie- We have tried so many different glass toys, and they aren't too expensive, so its not a big deal that this one didn't work out.
