The Ryder is a great butt plug. I was so excited to get my hands on this purple beast! It always seems to be out of stock. It it’s in stock and you want it, grab it fast!

The Ryder is optimal for intermediate users. It’s average in size and would scare beginners away for sure. It’s a little on the small size for more advanced users.

I have fallen in love with this plug. I own a lot of different plugs and probes, and have been trying to find a plug that will comfortably stay in while I walk around. Every plug I own seems to fall out. The Ryder finally stays in my ass! I love the color and silicone. It is worth every penny!

The Ryder is made out of pure silicone. Silicone is one of the safest materials to use. It rates a ten out of ten on Eden Fantasy’s Safety Scale. It is very safe for your body and can be sterilized. To sterilize the Ryder, simply boil it in water for a few minutes or place it in the dishwasher. After you sterilize it, you can share it with a partner.



Tantus’ silicone is very nice and smooth to the touch. It has a slight smell, but I had to put my nose to it to discern it. The Ryder is flexible at the neck. The silicone itself isn’t too plushy. It’s pretty firm silicone. It’s very comfortable when inserted though. The only negative thing about this silicone is that it attracts a lot of hair and lint. I put it down for two seconds and it’s a magnet! It’s not a deal breaker for me, but annoying. There is slight drag to it so be sure to use lubricant. On the base of the plug, there is Tantus’ logo.



The Ryder comes in a deep purple, black, and copper. However, I’ve never seen the copper in stock so I don’t know if it exists.

The Ryder is a little different than most butt plugs. Most plugs have a very slim tapered tip for easy insertion. The Ryder’s top is slightly smaller than the middle, but not by much. It can be a little harder to insert, but once you get it in, it’s an easy ride. The size of the plug is for intermediate to advanced anal players only. It is a total of 4 ¼” in length. It has an insertable length of 3 ¾”. The circumference is 4 ¾” with a diameter of 1 ½”.



The base of the Ryder is very small and slim. It’s only two inches in length. I love how small it is! It makes it very comfortable during use. Big bases tend to annoy me. With a small base, I can insert the plug as far up as it can go.

I’ve tried out many butt plugs and anal probes. The Ryder is the first plug that will actually stay put when I walk around. The slim neck makes it very easy for your butt to hold on to. I love the small slim base. I always seem to have issues with bases on plugs. The base is slim so that it can nestle in between your butt with no irritation. It’s very easy and comfortable to sit on. It is small, but I’m never worried that it will get lost up there. As I mentioned before, the small base makes it really easy to push the plug up as far as it can go.

The Ryder is very comfortable to wear. I am around an intermediate player in butt plugs. I do find it easier to insert the Ryder after I’ve warmed myself up with another toy first. Once I’m warmed up, it’s fairly easy to put the Ryder in (after a little bit of lubricant first). So far, I’ve worn the plug around the house and it has stayed in just fine. I probably wear it for thirty minutes at a time. I’ll slowly work my way up from there since I’m comfortable with this plug.

The Ryder is waterproof so it can be washed in warm water and soap. You can sterilize it by boiling it in some water. After you sterilize it, you can share it with someone else.

This is silicone so be sure to not use a silicone lubricant with it. I stick to a water based lubricant.

The Ryder was placed in a clear plastic box with writing all over it. You can see the toy through it so it’s not too discreet. There isn’t a lot of information with the package, but butt plugs are pretty self-explanatory. You can certainly keep the plug stored in the box. I had a hard time opening mine, so once it ripped I promptly recycled it.

The Ryder is my favorite plug to date. It’s pretty in purple and actually stays in my behind. I’m rating it five stars. I also own the Li’l End and the Big End by Doc Johnson. Here are all three pictured below.
