This is definitely not a toy for beginners. The Pyrex glass it is made of makes it great for temperature play. It was a pleasant cool sensation when inserted. It slowly warms to body temperature while it is inserted. You can also heat or cool it with warm water or by placing it in the freezer. Be careful not to injure yourself with extreme temperatures. You should also avoid rapid heating or cooling or extreme temperature changes that could cause your toy to crack or break. You should inspect the toy for cracks or chips regularly.

It takes a little preparation and time to insert it. I felt a slight pinch just before it slid inside. You will feel incredibly full. The glass has a very smooth feel that helps with insertion.
