The shape of the base of this toy makes it ideal for use during intercourse, or oral play. There's a wider end that comfortably rests against the taint, and a thinner end that rests between the cheeks. As it's a standard but quality plug, you can use it alone or with a partner. It's also equally well-designed for both the male and female anatomy, as it's not curved specifically for prostate stimulation. I would absolutely recommend a quality water-based anal lubricant for use with this plug, especially because the silicone has slight drag.

I'm very impressed with the quality of this plug. It's made of pure silicone, which Eden gives a 10 on the safety scale; I agree with this assessment. I did a flame test, and while I've never done one before, I do believe this product passed (there was no discoloration or melting). The silicone has a wonderfully smooth, velvety feel, but is not 100% without drag. The base is very flexible, and the plug itself has very sight give. Because it's made of pure silicone, it's completely able to be sterilized, so we actually purchased this for use as a couples' toy.

This was our first plug, and even as a "medium", I think it was a great choice. The tip is nicely rounded and the edges are gradually sloped, making for a more comfortable insertion. The size is on the smaller side, at 4" long with 3.5" of insertable length, and a 1" diameter. We're both relatively new to anal play and have never had plugs before, but we were able to fully insert the plug with the help of some Sliquid Sassy.

I ordered the black plug, and I'm very happy with it. It certainly looks like a butt plug, but it's small enough that I'm not worried about finding a place to stash it.

I really love how beginner-friendly this plug is. I was very reluctant to try anal play before I met my current partner, and I found it to be a bit of a stretch, but overall it was very pleasant. For a basic plug with no bells or whistles, I don't think you can do better than Doc Johnson's silicone Mood plug.

Silicone lends itself to easy care, which is why I'm trying to establish a bigger collection of silicone and glass toys. I use a toy cleaner and warm water to clean this plug before and after use. You could also use a gentle, antibacterial, fragrance-free soap. Other options are running it through the dishwasher, or boiling it.

The box in which the toy came is fairly discreet, though it does show the toy. The packaging is plain black with "Doc Johnson" and "Mood: Naughty" on it. There are no models or body parts depicted on the box. On the back of the box, there's some information about the toy, including materials and ways to clean it. It could possibly be used for storage, but I doubt anyone would like to go through the process of dealing with the box just to store it. I recommend using a satin draw-string pouch for storage.
