The First Time Love Beads from Cal Exotics are anal beads designed for people who are new to anal. The size is non-intimidating, and there is a loop to keep it from being sucked in. It’s made of a material that is easy to maintain, and a lot safer than jelly.

This is made of PVC which is basically plastic, just a lot more flexible and forgiving. It’s a lot more body safe than jelly which is why I chose this. The material is very smooth and has no drag.

The beads are just basically bulges that are set apart in intervals. The space between the bulges is also PVC, so this is all one piece. You don’t need to worry about it breaking while in use. The looped base is also the same material. There are no seams or rough edges to worry about.

This toy is about 10” long with an insertable length of 8”. There are 8 beads in total which are spaced apart by ¾”. The first two beads are about 1” in circumference, the second two are 1 ½”, the third pair is 2”, and the last two are 2 ¾”.

The loop at the bottom is quite large, so you could easily slip two fingers inside. The loop bends in half very easily, so I prefer to leave the last bead out so nothing happens.

I am extremely happy I got this as a starter toy. The beads graduate in size, so you can take your time as you go. I can feel them inside me, but the texture isn’t overwhelming. My anus is extremely sensitive, so pulling them out quickly isn’t my idea of fun. This is very affordable, and I definitely recommend them for anyone interested in trying anal.

Warm water and antibacterial soap will do the trick, but you can also use toy cleaner. Make sure you wash before and after each use. You can use silicone or water based lubricants with PVC, but the packaging recommends just water based. The toy is quite small and flexible, so you can store it anywhere.

This comes in clear blister packaging for displaying. I don't find it to be great for storage, so I just discarded it. The sheet of paper isn’t very helpful. It basically states that it was made in China, for external use only, and sold as a novelty along with company info.
