This toy is rather large in diameter for a glass toy, roughly equivalent to a medium plug made of a rubber material. If you have never used a glass toy before, they are worth exploring. Glass toys have a unique, super-smooth, heavy feel and can be heated or cooled (with caution) for different sensations. If you plan to heat or cool the toy, make sure that you do so gradually. Submerging the toy in water is an excellent method. Be sure to check the temperature, with a thermometer, before inserting.

Because glass is non-porous, it is extremely easy to clean and sanitize, and can even be placed in the dishwasher. The shaft is rather thick in relation to the head, meaning it may or may not stay in place on it's own. You also need to be careful not to drop it on anything hard. It's pretty tough, but tempered glass is still glass.

Lubrication can be difficult. It's compatible with anything on the market, but lube tends to wipe off, so you need to focus on lubricating the body instead of the toy. Once you have done that, it should be ok for the rest of the session. Because it's hard, it will likely take some care to insert it. However, once inside the weight and temperature sensations are unique. It's fairly expensive compared to some of the silicone toys that are available, but it is nearly indestructable, and with a bit of caution should last indefinitely.

Because of its heavy, rigid nature, and the tendency for it to fall out on it's own, this type of toy can be difficult to use in non-solo situations, where it would need to stay in place on it's own. An excellent way to use this type of toy would be to have your partner heat or cool it without your knowledge, or to alternate between toys that are at different temperatures.
