Double Bubble, Double the Fun.
If you're already comfortable with the size, then it's a nice inexpensive toy, with an unusual shape, which is a welcome addition to any toy drawer.

Pros
Fun shape, attractive to look at.
Cons
Flimsy base, slightly uncomfortable material.
The first thing to say about this plug is that it’s only really suitable for someone who can already accommodate its full size. I point this out early on because the shape can be quite deceptive. You’d be forgiven for looking at it and assuming that with the smaller and larger areas, it would be ideal for gradually training your muscles up to accepting the whole thing, but you’d be mistaken. Due to the unique shape, and the length of the plug, the result is two sections both with quite a steep gradient compared to a traditional plug. This makes the plug more difficult to insert if you’re not used to it; once you get over the first ‘bubble’ the muscles close back down around it and then have to start expanding again from scratch in order to take the larger section. By this point you’ve lost a portion of the overall length, and so the muscles have to expand a greater amount over a shorter distance, and you’re liable to find they simply won’t comply, even if you keep pushing until you’re blue in the face. So, if you haven’t taken this size before then start with a more traditional shape, as the gentle taper will ease its way through the muscles more gradually and you’ll make better progress.
With that out of the way, we can look into the specifications:
Aesthetically it's a very attractive toy to look at, thanks to the combination of the unusual shape and the translucent ruby-red colour. You might find yourself tempted to put it out on a shelf for decoration, if you're not worried about the suspicious glances of any visitors.
The plug is made of PVC, which I found to be quite a hard material to the touch, especially when compared to something such as silicone. As a result, I didn’t find it to be an especially comfortable toy to insert, but you may disagree if you typically enjoy glass and metal toys. The build quality is generally good and free from mould lines, but is let down in some areas; it's noticeably asymmetrical, there are half a dozen visible air bubbles within the plastic, and there's the odd lump and bump along the otherwise smooth contours of the surface, none of which really amount to a deal breaker.
The plug noticeably has two main sections, the first "bubble" with a diameter of 1 1/2", and the second with 2 1/4". There is a lack of any neck on the toy near to the base, with 4 1/4" being insertable, of the total 4 5/8" height. This means that once the plug is inside, there isn’t really any space for the muscles to close down behind it, and hold it in place. If you want to leave it in then you can’t just relax and forget about it, but rather must actively clench to hold it there. The flip side is that it’s incredibly easy to take out when you’re ready. To finish it off there's a flexible 3" x 1 1/8" base to prevent any mishaps, this is a little flimsy and bends and twists a lot when you’re grabbing it, and could do with being a little thicker to increase its strength.
The toy is not completely odour free. The smell it has is not overly strong or unpleasant, but it is present.
Over all the toy is pretty fun, with the shape adding a little something extra over the traditional butt plug form, and it represents good value for money.

Experience
I originally bought this butt plug because I made the mistake of thinking that due to the shape it would be a useful tool for anal training and working up to the larger section. It ended up taking a while and the purchase of an additional toy before I could finally fit it in completely.
Follow-up commentary
6 days after original review
I've had this plug for about nine months now, and I have to say I don't really use it any more, apart from some rare occasions.
Initially when I bought it, I had some trouble with it and couldn't make it fit. I ended up having to buy a 2 1/4" plug in a traditional shape and use that before I could finally take the Double Bubble fully.
Once I accomplished the challenge of trying to use the toy, I seemed to lose interest in it almost entirely. I realized in the process that I actually preferred the feeling of the regular butt plug over the Double Bubble.
Using the unusual shape doesn't really feel that amazing and definitely not enough to overcome the drawbacks of the product, such as the discomfort of the hard material, the lack of a neck, and the flimsy base.
It's a shame really as I had high hopes for the toy, but at least it's attractive enough to double as an ornament.
