The Ergonomic One Finger, or Linger, is a wooden dildo. Its shaft has multiple graduated bulges or beads that does wonders for the vagina or anus. This toy has unlimited uses, and it is up to you on how to use it. It can be used as a vaginal dildo, an anal probe, a massaging stick, or you can use the multiple bulges to stimulate the clit or other sensitive parts. I think that this makes a better couple's toy than a solo toy. Keep in mind that this is just my opinion. My husband handles this toy better than I do. The dildo has a curve to it, so it will target the G-spot and P-spot. The size is not overwhelming or large, so I think beginners can use this without feeling scared or uncomfortable.
The design is not threatening or intimidating. It doesn't vibrate or make any noises (other than the noises that come out of your mouth), so I would deem this toy roommate/dorm room safe. If found, it could be passed off as a work of art. Those who are familiar with NobEssence will know what it is though. This wooden dildo is safe to use with silicone and water based lubricants, which is perfect because silicone lubricants work very well in the shower. Temperature play is better with glass toys, but wood can hold temperatures a little. It will not last as long as glass, so be aware.

Linger is made out of wood. The really cool thing is that you don't get to pick what type of wood it is made out of, and you won't know what kind it is made of until it arrives at your door. Talk about a surprise! In case you want to know what kind of wood your toy is made out of, there is a sticker on the side of the box that supplies this information. The entire shaft of this dildo is composed of bulges. The texture is not too extreme, but beginners to texture might want to try something a little less pronounced first. The overall diameter is good for anyone who wants to use it. Size Kings/Queens may feel a little disappointed in the end with the slim diameter. My Linger is made out of a type of wood called Wenge. Wood by itself is porous, but NobEssence applies their patented Lubrosity coating. This seals in the wood. It makes the wood non-porous, hypo-allergenic, latex/phthalates free. It also prevents any splinters from happening, so it is totally safe for the user and their body. This Lubrosity coating is smell and taste free. I think it prevents the toy from holding onto smells. The dildo is 100% seam free. The special coating makes the surface shiny and slippery. It does not soak up lube, and a little lubricant goes a very long way. Wood, like glass and metal, is extremely rigid. Unlike glass, it isn't the best for temperature play. Some may find metal or some glass toys to be too heavy, but wood is very lightweight making it easy on the wrists. Heavy toys also tend to flip or move during hands free play. I have never had a problem with this dildo doing that.

Like I said, this dildo's shaft is composed of several bulbs that graduate in size. This style really reminds me of anal beads, but they aren't very long in length like some anal beads can be. There is also usually a space between each anal bead, but there is only a little tapered area between each bulge. The tip of the first and smallest bulge is slightly pointy, but the most important thing is that it is tapered to slowly grow into the one inch diameter. All of the bulges are tapered this way before slowly backing down into the small neck. These small necks between each bulge can be used as a stopping point so that way you can breathe and get used to what was just inserted.
Located at the end of the toy is an oval shaped handle that is big enough to fit one finger into (hence its name). It is up to you which finger you use in the handle. Personally, I find it easier on my wrist and other fingers if I use my middle finger. Once I insert my finger into the handle, my other fingers naturally curve around the outside of the handle. This handle makes rocking the toy into the G-spot easy, but I don't find it easier to use than the Fling Ergonomic Two Finger dildo also by NobEssence. Like I said before, this toy can be used by anyone who is willing to give it a try.

The Erognomic One Finger has proven, just like all my other NobEssence dildos, to be an absolute pleasure. The graduating bulbs feel wonderful when used vaginally or anally. Just like all of my other NobEssence dildos, the tip on this one does not feel pokey or uncomfortable. That being said, I have also never had a problem with this dildo catching painfully on my pubic bone. I have to say that the curve on this dildo is excellent for me. I have a shallow G-spot, so it targets and stimulates my sweet spots in the most amazing way. This curve plus the texture puts me in orgasm heaven. The texture, for me, isn't too extreme so I can orgasm over and over until I am spent. What I am trying to say is that this dildo doesn't leave me feeling sensitive or overstimulated after an orgasm. Instead, the bulges constantly stroke my G-spot, and I feel like I am having one huge continuous orgasm.
My experience with using this anally does not differ much from my experiences vaginally. I don't orgasm very easily from anal penetration alone, but the multiple bulges feel super awesome. The handle works perfectly during couple's play, and it sure makes shower play easier when everything is all slippery. In my personal experience, the one finger handle is more effective when used by my husband. The angle my hand and fingers are when using it solo tends to make my wrist hurt and cramp up. For solo play, I really prefer to use my Fling Ergonomic Two Finger. When I do use it during solo, I don't have a problem with it flipping over when using it hands free. I know a lot of heavier metal dildos tend to flip when the hands are removed from the picture, but this dildo is super lightweight and therefore stays in place.

Ergonomic One Finger can be cleaned with warm water and antibacterial soap. If that isn't clean enough for you, NobEssence suggests wiping the dildo down with isopropyl alcohol (rubbing alcohol). When cleaning, be sure not to use a sponge or anything abrasive. This could possibly cause scratches and ruin the toy. The Lubrosity coating makes the dildo's surface super slick, so any fluids will easily and quickly wash away. I don't have a problem with fluids being trapped in any crevices. After cleaning, I put the dildo back in its original packaging. It is small enough to be tucked just about anywhere, which is perfect for storage and traveling. If sharing, I always recommend putting a condom or toy cover over the shaft. I also recommend properly cleaning before going from vaginal to anal play.

This dildo comes in the typical NobEssence packaging. This includes a little booklet instructing the user on how to properly care for their new wooden dildo. The packaging is a very thick and sturdy blue and brown box. Instead of pulling apart like other NobEssence boxes do, this box opens and closes via a magnetic flap. The toy is covered by a removeable layer of foam. It is also held in place by two elastic strings. This keeps the toy from bouncing around during storage and travel. There is nothing crude or sexual on the outside of the packaging, so I believe this would make a great gift.
