The Cal Exotics Beaded Probe is a pretty basic anal probe. It has a flexible shaft with 5 different size beads, that get larger the deeper you play. It is pretty flexible and soft, especially when compared to most plastic anal beads. The ring handle and softness makes this a pretty decent toy, especially for beginners looking to get into anal play.

The material of this product would be its biggest downfall, yet it is what makes it soft and flexible, especially when compared to plastic material beads. It is made from TPE which is hypoallergenic, latex free, and phthalates free. It is a good material for anyone that may have allergies to other materials. However, with it being TPE(rubber), it is porous, has a pretty strong smell, and needs lots of care and maintenance. This toy is a lint magnet.

The design is that of a typical beaded anal probe. It has a 5 1/2" of shaft that can be inserted, with a sequence of 5 beads that get larger the deeper you go. It has a circumference of 4 1/4" and a diameter of 2". Both the size and shape of this toy are pretty basic for its category. The one area in the design that is a positive is that it is much softer and more flexible than most plastic competitors products, which(with the right amount of lube) can be much more enjoyable.

The only flaw in the design (or quite possibly in the molding) is the first bead seems to be pointed or sharp and the molding line sticks out. I wouldn't say the molding line is sharp, but it does make one wonder if it is going to cause a comfort issue.

The best quality in this toy is its softness and flexibility. The flexibility of this toy makes using it pretty easy, even in many different positions. It can be a really good toy for beginners who are looking to get into anal play. It isn't too big in size, it is soft, and the flexibility makes it nice.

The care and maintenance of this toy must be thoroughly understood when buying this product, especially since it is an anal toy. Since it is TPE and porous, it must be cleaned very well after each use with warm water and soap. It must be stored separately from other toys and objects, as it can collect lots of lint and dust. I would highly recommend storing this toy in its own bag. We use cotton draw string bags for all of our toys that need to be separated from others.
