The Mood Naughty Medium Plug is a high-quality silicone butt plug that can be a non-threatening introduction to anal play, a comfortable plug for long-term wear, or a warm up toy for more experienced users.

This is my first butt plug, and what really attracted me to this toy was the design. It is very non-threatening. While the anchor-shaped base makes it more difficult to pull the toy in and out during use, it makes the Mood Naughty a lovely candidate for extended wear (possibly in public), as it can be inserted and kept in very discreetly. I was concerned about the stem being so long, but during use I found that it was not an issue.

I don't see the toy having many alternative uses, as the design doesn't endear it to vaginal or oral insertion. As an anal plug, though, the design is well suited to being worn during sex or masturbation, or for long-term wear. The anchor-shaped base prevents it from slipping in, while the silicone is flexible enough to bend to the curve of your backside without any painful pressure, and without getting in the way of the vagina. Both the base and stem of the toy are very flexible and can easily be bent, but the "bulb" is very firm with maybe an eight of an inch of give when squeezed. The stem is almost too flexible, making insertion difficult without two hands sometimes.

The material is smooth and non-porous, and while there is a visible seam on the toy, I've never felt it during use. I didn't notice any odor on the toy when I took it out of the box or since using it. I expected the silicone to be much stickier, but this toy is fabulously smooth and lovely. When I took it out of the box for the first time, I wanted to rub it on my face just to feel how smooth it was. That said, I still used a lot of lube (water-based, not silicone) when playing with this toy. Because silicone lube is out of the question with silicone toys, I found myself having to reapply my water-based lube many times during use.

I'm currently living in a dorm and want to avoid weird looks in the bathroom, so I really needed a toy that was easy to take care of. The Mood Naughty plug is perfect in this regard. Silicone is easy to clean with antibacterial soap and warm water, and because it is non-porous, I know that when I wash my plug it really is clean. I've never noticed any prevailing soap smell after cleaning either. The pink color of the Mood Naughty is excellent for me, because I can hide it in my shower caddy and bring it with me into the shower to clean it off, without it being too obvious. Of course, silicone can also be boiled for up to three minutes, or washed with a toy cleaner. While the silicone isn't too sticky, I'm still wary of it attracting dust, so I make a habit of wiping it down before use.

Its design makes it obvious what the toy is for, so I am careful to keep it hidden, but this isn't a problem considering the size. I store my plug in the box it came in, but I'll probably invest in a more discreet method of storage sometime soon.

The first time I was using this toy, I was interrupted by a friend and had to leave my room to sort some stuff out. Rather than risk my roommate finding it, I left the plug in. I'm new to anal play but wow, wearing a plug out felt really exciting. The base felt really natural against me, and while I felt the pressure of it, I didn't feel any pain while walking or moving around. It was surprisingly comfortable and rather fun. Definitely going to try doing it again sometime -- hopefully intentionally, though!!

My only complaints during my use of the toy would be how skinny the stem is and how poorly suited the toy is to being pulled in and out. The narrow stem is good for extended wear, certainly, but I'm already looking for something that will stretch me open a little more. I suppose it depends on your preferences for stimulation. The narrow stem is also very flexible, which can make insertion a challenge sometimes. The stem being so narrow compared to the bulb made it really uncomfortable, when I tried to pull the toy in and out during use, and the base was difficult to keep hold of. But it doesn't feel like the toy was really intended for that kind of use, so I'm not counting it as a con as much as me having the wrong expectations.

That aside, I've been really pleased with this toy. The size is very small, but the firmness of the material makes it feel very filling, at least for me, and it's great to be able to indulge in anal play and keep my hands free. A more experienced user would probably not be very satisfied, and even as a beginner I'm glad I invested in the Medium rather than a Small. The Naughty Medium is very high quality and perfect for what it is, and I am very pleased with my investment.
