Lelo is known as a maker of elegant and classy toys, but most of their line consists of vibrators and toys used for clitoral or vaginal play. The Bob is a butt plug. It would not satisfy when used for anything else. If used vaginally, it wouldn't be long or filling enough to make much of an impact. It wouldn't provide much in the way of clitoral stimulation. It is made entirely of silicone; one solid piece. The surface is matte, and has a bit of drag, but not so much drag as to cause issues. The handle, which is a loop, is more flexible and able to bend, while the bulb at the end is much more firm. The tip is has a gently rounded tip, almost a point, which allows for easy insertion. Approaching the base, the toy narrows, so that it stays in place comfortably. The Bob is very body safe. Silicone is non-porous and can be shared between users if it is sterilized between uses.

You can sterilize this toy by either boiling it, or putting in the dishwasher. You can wash this toy with a mild soap and water. As far as lubes are concerned, you want to stick with something water-based. Avoid using silicone lubes with silicone toys. This little guy certainly collects lint and dust. Be sure to inspect and wipe off the Bob before using, to ensure you get all the dust off.

The Bob did not cause any discomfort standing, sitting or walking/moving around. This toy would be a great first step for someone considering anal play. It is roughly the size of a finger, so it isn't large or intimidating. It would help to get you comfortable with the sensation of something in your ass, in a way that is gentle and fun. The Bob is not gender specific, and could just as easily be used my men and women. The smaller size may make it a less desirable choice for P-spot play, but it certainly may work depending on what appeals to you.

No. But as a well designed starter plug, or a plug that you can use as a little extra something during sex or other play, it really is one the best I've ever used.

If you're interested in introducing anal play, but don't want to scare off your partner, the Bob would be a great choice. There isn't anything scary about it; the size won't make your eyes bug out, the design in classic and elegant and the color is sedate. It's a classy way to add a little spice to your sex life.
