This beautiful piece of glass is meant to be used as a butt plug. While it does not have a curve to hit the prostate, it is still extremely pleasurable to wear. I think this plug is best suited for intermediate/advanced anal toy users. In my opinion, glass should not be a beginners choice because the material is super rigid. I think a beginner will find a silicone butt plug, like the Little Flirt by Tantus or the Pleasure #1 by Happy Valley, much more comfortable and therefore enjoyable. Located on the bottom is a very nice flared base which makes this toy perfect for anal play. Even though this is meant for your butt, I still caution when thrusting. When glass hits the wrong way, it can certainly still hurt. As with all glass toys, this plug is great for temperature play. We will talk more about that later. Whatever you do, Do Not Be Stingy With The Lube!

This plug is composed of a material called Pyrex glass. Pyrex is a non porous, latex free, phthalates free, and hypo-allergenic material. Remember that glass does not move or bend, which means you should be careful when thrusting. Glass can bruise delicate tissues pretty easily. Just be sure to go slow until you are comfortable with the rigidness of the material, and always use a lot of lube. Glass is smell and taste free.
Another good thing about Pyrex? If you drop it and it breaks, it will break into large pieces instead of splintering into a thousand pieces like regular glass. If you really want to take that extra step in safety, I suggest buying a padded toy pouch for storage.
Glass is a great material to use for temperature play. Simply place in a bowl of water (you choose desired temperature) for a few minutes. When the glass reaches the temperature you want, lube up and have fun!
Although I can be a texture lover, I do enjoy the feel of completely smooth glass. This plug is 100% texture free. Because it is so smooth, it glides in without any effort.
The color is simply magnificent! In low lighting, it looks black and seductive. When you put a little light behind the toy, it becomes this gorgeous deep blue. Either way, this is one classy butt plug!

This anal plug reminds me of a bowling pin of sorts. It has a nice, small, rounded tip that makes inserting it super easy. It tapers in a little so that you can get used to the small tip before inserting the larger portion of the toy. I find it extremely enjoyable to thrust just the tip in and out for a couple of minutes in order to get my body warmed up and ready for the main event. It then gradually gets to the biggest part of the plug (I call it the bulge). The biggest part of this toy measures around 1 3/8" in diameter or 4 1/4" in circumference.
The total length of this plug is 4 3/4", but only 4 1/2" of that is insertable. If you are completely new to anal, I still suggest the toys I mentioned earlier. However if you have been playing with anal here and there enough to where you are comfortable and you know what you like and dislike, I really think you should give this a shot. It is small enough to allow comfort, and it is completely smooth. This plug is definitely beautiful and non threatening.
After you get past the bulge, it will gently taper down to the 1/2" neck. I know what you are thinking. "The neck looks like it could snap any moment. It is so thin!". I have worn this during everyday tasks, including sitting, and it still holds strong. What can I say? Glass is super strong.
The base is my only problem. Yes, it is large enough to keep it from getting sucked into the dark abyss. However it can be quite uncomfortable when sitting. It can also cause some discomfort when wearing it for a long period of time. I have ample cushion back there, but I still find it irritating to my bum at times. The base does have a nice feminine "L", which obviously stands for Luxotiq.

I found this plug to be extraordinary! I love to wear it for long periods of time. When the base becomes unbearable I simply take it out, and wait for an hour or so to reinsert it. Every time I insert this a moan or sigh always manages to escape my lips. The initial cold feels amazing, and it heats up to my body temperature in no time. It stays in quite well. I have had it pop out a couple of times during sex, but during long term wear it always stays put!

If you have a glass toy you know just how easy it is to clean and care for. If you are new to glass, let me fill you in. For everyday cleaning, a simple wash down with warm water and soap is all it takes. If you want to embark on a deeper cleaning adventure, this toy can be wiped down with a 10% bleach solution and/or it can be boiled for about 3-4 minutes. If you do not mind wasting a little water, you can also put in the top rack of your dishwasher (without soap).

After the cleaning is done, I like to let it air dry. I then polish it with the handy cloth that is included with your toy.

If you cannot leave it out to air dry because you have company or you live with someone, you can dry it of with a soft wash cloth or towel. Just do not use any abrasive materials to clean or dry off your new glass plug. This can cause severe scratching to the surface, and may destroy your toy.

When it comes to lubes, anything is possible. Glass works well with water, silicone, and oil based lubricants. Even though glass is a non porous material, I do still suggest putting some sort of protection (example-a condom) on this toy if you are going to switch or share between partners.

Overall, the packaging is nice. It consists of a white and pink cardboard box with a white satin tie closure. The only writing on the outside is the company's name: Luxotiq. There are no crude words or pictures to hint that this box contains a sex toy. Inside the box is the plug, a card with the Luxotiq name on it (looks like a business card), and a pink cloth used to polish the anal plug. Both the plug itself and the cloth are in there own plastic packages when they first arrive. In the bottom of the packaging is a foam bed. It does not have a cutout for the toy to sit in, so the plug can just roll around in the box. Another thing that really turns me off is the fact that no matter how hard I try, I can never seem to get the box completely closed. There is always a gap, because the base is too big for the lid of the box to be completely closed. Those are my only complaints when it comes to the packaging. Other than this, the packaging has kept together nicely for me. The satin ties have not shown any wear or tear. However pretty the packaging is, I am highly considering buying a padded pouch for my new favorite glass plug.

As stated in the beginning, this was my first glass butt plug. I do have to stress that it was not my first anal toy though. I have been playing around with anal for almost a year now, and I constantly wear silicone plugs around the house. Glass is easily my favorite material, but I am super glad that I started out with silicone first.


That being said, I cannot believe it has taken me so long to try a glass anal plug! I love it beyond words, and I will absolutely purchase more. In fact, I think I love this one so much that I just might purchase the stainless steel one to match.

Despite the base and packaging issues, I have to give this plug 5 stars. I find it too pleasurable to give it anything less.
