This plug is exactly as large the name "Big Boy" implies. As such, it's not a plug for the feint of heart - or butt. Definitely not beginner friendly, this plug was designed to pleasure those who enjoy a particularly large stretch. The Big Boy's base is particularly flexible around the edges. Since the base is entirely circular with very little attempt to be slim enough to comfortably fit between the cheeks, this flexibility along the edges makes it a lot more comfortable to use. The plug will still put some pressure on the cheeks during wear, but the flexibility of the outermost edges of the silicone allows the plug to be less uncomfortable during wear.

Due to its concave base, the Big Boy comes equipped with a suction cup base. This base may be helpful or annoying to you, but it does require a bit of forethought. If you press the toy up against any flat surface (like a hard floor), the toy will become suctioned to that surface. The suction cup is particularly great at its job - it suctions up very well. If you weren't expecting it, it may become really frustrating. However, the suction cup allows for easy, hands-free insertion of the plug, so it can always be used for positive results. Just know that you'll have to use your fingers to break the suction seal in order to get the plug off of the surface.

The Big Boy is made entirely of a full, waterproof piece of silicone. There are no electronic or moving parts to it which makes it seamless to clean. Warm water and anti-bacterial soap will allow for regular cleaning of the plug. Feel free to submerge it entirely to ensure you clean every inch of the plug. For thorough cleaning, this toy can be boiled in a pot of hot water or sterilized with a water/bleach solution.

As this is an anal plug, thorough amounts of lubricant should be used. Make sure to use water-based lubricant as many silicone-based lubricants may harm the surface of the toy. If you're really set on using silicone-based, do a small spot test on the base to ensure the material will be fine.

For storage, it's recommended to use a bag or box that will keep the plug from getting any hair or lint on it. While the surface of the silicone is a matte finish that doesn't tend to grab onto lint, it's still best to store it away from any dirt. The box the plug comes with can stand-in as a good storage option for your new plug.

Inside the cardboard box, the plug itself is stored in a plastic bag. The bag isn't resealable, so you'll need to destroy the bag to use the plug. The box can serve as long-term storage for this silicone plug, though. It's a pretty sturdy box, but it isn't discreet.
