Beaded pleasure, lengthened discomfort
The beaded aspect is the only good thing about this toy. It's not worth the risk of injury and the general annoyances of the toy. There are other anal toys far better (and at a safer length) than this one. I gave this two stars simply because the graduated bead aspect and spacing between the beads is good for beginners, and are hard features to find in an anal toy.

Pros
Beads feel great going in, and enough room between each to pause.
Cons
Length & material choice.
I had just started getting into anal play when I got these. I thought they would be a good step up from using a finger, and they were. They seemed a little long in my opinion when I got them, but I didn't think anything of it. Of course they also smelled (and still did 2yrs later when I tossed them) due to the jelly material.
I loved that the anal beads|X - 10 beads were spaced just far enough apart to allow for pausing. When you're just starting out, this is an excellent feature. If you just overcame a size that was almost too much, you can pause, take a breather, and then start on the next bead when you're ready. That was pretty much where this products positive aspects stopped.
The strand is curved. It kept wanting to spin different ways during insertion due to the curve. Once the strand was in all the way, it felt uncomfortable. It just constantly felt like it was putting pressure further up (pressure from the tip), like it was too long. That's when I started researching & discovered that inserting a toy further than around 8 inches risks tearing the colon, because that's when it turns sharply. This toy is 12 inches long, assuming that counts the loop of a handle, that still leaves about 11 inches insertable. This is when I decided that if I was going to use the toy any time in the future (which rarely happened), I wasn't going to insert beyond 8", which makes the beads very boring when you can't hit the larger ones.
After making that anatomy discovery, I would suggest against buying/inserting any toy further than 8". These beads ended up at the bottom of my toy barrel, and after 2yrs (of very little) they finally made it to the trash can. Between the curvature, the material, and the anatomy issue, these beads were not worth the downfalls.

Ick, scary realization.
-
Scary! You'd think toy companies would realize basic anatomy before producing these things.
-
Weird that they curve like that. Also, you're inserting them into the rectum, not the colon (though if you go far enough, you'd end up in the colon). It's actually safe to do this with flexible toys. t

I guess for $7 you get what you pay for!

I had read that flexible toys should bend to make it around the curve, but there's not really any way to tell if it is or not when it's inside. Plus with the added curve (which it always springs back to) that the toy already has to it, I didn't feel it was worth the risk. Perhaps if it had had no curve and was a little more easily flexed, and if it was silicone, I may have kept it around.

I did not even think about the length issue until I started to use them.

good to know bout the curvature. i love curves, but they're best when they move.
