The Beaded Probe from Cal Exotics is a very good toy because it's straight forward in its design. Specifically built as an anal probe, it is very smooth, yet firm, but pliable enough to ensure comfort. Use is simple. Make sure to always use lots of lube and gently insert one ball at a time. Due to its design, its not too small or too big in both length and width, so it's perfect for beginners.

The material it is made of is TPE. It's is very smooth to the touch, firm, but pliable. The texture combined with lube makes it quite smooth. There is a slight chemical smell to it as well, but you have to have your nose right up to the toy to smell it. There is nothing too amazing about the texture, but that is the point of this being a basic probe, so this is definitely a beginners toy.

I really like the design, because it is exactly what the name implies: Basic. The shape is straight forward and simple, making sure to not be overly complicated with bells and whistles. It has one probe in the end followed by four graduated beads that max out at about 2". A big 2" handle at the end ensures that you do not "lose" your toy, which is a very important thing. Being only 7 1/2" long, and only 5 1/2" insertable because of the handle, the smaller length is great for beginners. As long as it's not a bight color you choose, this toy can be quite discreet if you play your cards right.

The best part of this toy is that it is basic. It's built as an anal probe and does its job perfectly. I guess as a side note, you could say that what is not so great about this toy is that it has no special features like vibration, interchangeable sizes, or something like that. However, this is designed to be a basic probe, so you should expect that there wouldn't be anything like that with this toy.

TPE is a pretty straight forward material. Warm water with some antibacterial soap works well. It is easy to clean, and the plastic casing the toy came in is great for storage. Make sure to only use this toy with silicone and water based lubes.
