The Zing is constructed from 100% medical-grade silicone. The bullet provided with the Zing is plastic coated with metallic paint. The Zing has a hollow inside the base where an included bullet can be inserted. The bullet slot is just under 2" in length, meaning most of the vibrations are focused at the anus, not internally. The included bullet has one setting: it is either on or it is turned off. The vibrations are powerful and nicely rumbly, but beware - the 3 watch batteries that run the Zing's bullet don't last very long. With as expensive as watch batteries are, this can be pretty frustrating.

If you're looking to wear the Zing for a sustained period of time, I'd take out the bullet. This makes the neck of the Zing more flexible and slightly collapsable. As you move, bend, clench and unclench, the silicone Zing will work with your body, making this a comfortable toy for long wear.

I love silicone. LOVE IT. Silicone is so easy to care for and sterilize! As with any silicone toy, the Zing is NOT compatible with silicone lubricant. Use the Zing with a water-based lubricant. Since anal play tends to lend itself to a long duration, try going for a thick, gel-like water based lubricant. Thick, gel lubricants dry much more slowly and extend the amount of time between reapplication. I recommend Maximus, but any water-based lubricant will do.

There are several options when it comes to cleaning the Zing.
For the bullet: Always remove the bullet before cleaning the silicone portion of the Zing. Clean the bullet using antibacterial toy cleaner or soap, but be careful not to submerge the bullet, which may cause water damage.

For the silicone toy itself: Between anal uses, simply spritz with an antibacterial toy cleaner, rinse, and store. Antibacterial soap works, too. If you're going to be sharing the Zing with another person or switching between vaginal and anal use, you'll want to do a bit more extensive cleaning to prevent germ transfer. You can soak the Zing in a 10% bleach solution or boil it in plain water for 10 minutes. Both of these should kill any pathogens and prevent transferring bacteria from one individual or orifice to another.

When storing, I recommend keeping your Zing in a bag or box of some sort. As mentioned earlier, silicone is a lint and hair magnet, so you'll need to keep the Zing stored in a clean, enclosed place, like a drawer or toy chest.
