The Frill is certainly one of the most interesting anal plugs I have tried. It has many good features and a couple of faults. I will go over the good first.

Size. This toy is best suited for an advanced beginner or intermediate player. It is almost two fingers wide. I found it easy to insert. Once in, it stayed there the entire session. The controls are on the side of the base. They are a little hard to get to once the Frill is in. There is app control, but I will get into that later.

Material. The Frill is made out of my favorite material ever for anal, silicone. It just needs a bit of thicker water-based lube to get it ready to play. As always, do not store this toy with other silicone toys and do not use silicone lube with it as this can be damaging.

Power and variety. The Frill is plenty powerful. It has nine vibration settings and six rotation settings. These are all accessible using the buttons or the app. I really enjoyed mixing up the various combinations. It helped surprise my body and really turn me on. I could really feel it rubbing my prostate. The Frill did not give me an orgasm all by itself but it did greatly add to my orgasms.

The not great. The app. The app is a really good idea for an anal toy but has some issues. Once the toy was in place, the Frill did not want to communicate with the app. Too much ass got in the way. I found you had to spread wide and bring the phone within a foot or two to make it change settings. This is not great because of where the buttons are. If the buttons were on the end of the Frill, it would be easier. That is the only real default I could find with the Frill.

It's easy to insert, powerful, and full of variety but difficult to control.
