Though marketed as a p-spot vibrator, the Anal-T is clearly a ladies' man as well. Whether used for vaginal or anal insertion or used for clitoral stimulation, the "T" aims to please. The bad news is I think my boyfriend has been replaced!
The Anal-T is marketed as a p-spot vibrator. However, I found it pleasing for my nipples, clitoris, vaginal insertion, and anal insertion. Did I mention it feels great when pressed on that tension spot on top of your shoulders?
This toy is going to please anyone and everyone. Not to mention all the bedroom creativity that can come out of the use of this toy. Double penetration, erotic massage, teasing, foreplay, etc. If there's a spot the Anal-T is missing, I'm unaware of it.
The Anal-T is made of plastic, which is an 8 on the safety scale. It's non-porous, phthalate-free, and allows for the use of water, oil, or silicone lubricants. Due to the fact that it is free of the softening agent, the toy is firm and smooth.
Directly out of the package, the "T" had no smell or taste, but the control pad did have a slight plastic smell that easily washed away.
The curve in the toy allows for insertion without the need to hold the Anal-T in place. This leaves your hands free to work the controls or your clitoris (or for you guys, the penis).
There is only one minor flaw with the Anal-T, and it is that the cord is slightly shorter than I would like. It's not so much of a flaw that I would knock off an entire star for the rating though. I do enjoy that the shape keeps the Anal-T in place and that the remote is flat enough to sit on the ledge in my shower for hands-free play after choosing my setting.
I don't have a lot of anal play toys, but I didn't find the size of this daunting in any way. It has an insertable length of only 3 inches, a diameter of 1 inch, and a circumference of 3 1/4 inches. Plus at .3 lbs, there isn't a lot of weight to it.
The T-shape did cause some issues when attempting double penetration. The T-base is a little large, so when inserting another toy and thrusting, you may find that you are bumping the base of the Anal-T. It's slightly inconvenient, but it can also be avoided with a little adjustment. It's definitely nothing I would call a major flaw!
The control has 5 settings: off, low, mid, high, and super. It's about the size of a remote control for a Mac laptop and has a small circular port to hook the cord from the T into. The button just slides up and down to the different settings. A ridged bottom allows for easy access to the battery compartment and for better grip. The battery compartment itself shows which direction to insert the batteries in with a + or a - and the type of battery (2 AAs that aren't included). It seems well put together, and the battery compartment seems to close tightly.
The Anal-T is labeled as 100% waterproof, and I took it into the shower and saw absolutely no water in the battery compartment. Just be careful of accidently pushing the compartment open with the easy slide ridges.
The Anal-T isn't very noisy. It's very similar to a cellphone's vibration, and I couldn't hear it outside of the door.
The vibrations actually travel through the cord and T. However, the power doesn't seem to be lost in the cord. I prefer the hi and super settings, but I also lose interest in anything with less than 4 vrooms. The vibration is actually the same steady vibration but either stronger or weaker depending on the setting.
Plastic is easily cleaned with antibacterial soap and water. An alternative cleaner is rubbing alcohol, which tends to be cheaper than your toy cleaning foams and wipes anyway.
I store the Anal-T in its original packaging, but that's how I store basically everything I own. It's just about having all of the information available if I find that I need to go back and look something up.
As stated, water, oil, and silicone lubes are compatible with this toy. It's also waterproof, so you don't have to worry about getting the lubricant somewhere on it and ruining something.
This toy comes in two parts...the Anal-T and the controller. The cord for the Anal-T is wrapped up and a twist-it like from a loaf of bread secures the cord until the toy is taken out. The Anal-T has a picture of a woman on the front of its package, but she isn't overly provocative. However, the plastic clamshell case isn't exactly discreet with Anal-T in bold red letters across the front. It does say on the package that the Anal-T is 100% waterproof.
There is a warning that states that the Anal-T should not be used on swollen or inflamed areas or skin lacerations.
There are no instructions included, but I found the toy to be self-explanatory.
While the packaging is not pretty or made for storage, I do store my T in it until it wears out at least. However, the T will be easy to store in a drawer somewhere since it is hard plastic and won't collect dust or lint.
Follow-up commentaryI still like it21 days after original review
I still like it...or love it...or am slightly obsessed with it! Plus, it's just super easy to clean. I still wish the cord was a bit longer, but I'm also finding places waist-high everywhere to sit it down while I play. ;) I've also had some new anal toys come in, but I prefer this to a lot of the plugs and such. The batteries are still working in the T after several sessions, and yes, I bought cheap batteries (of course I store them in the fridge). I also remove the batteries after every use. I'd still recommend this toy 100%!
