Guys. Ladies. There should be no question that this is an advanced item, to be used only by the most expert and skilled of large toy users, and to attempt to use such a thing without the necessary experience can lead only to disaster.

Well, it's not really as bad as all that but believe me when I say they don't get much bigger than this. If you are an advanced user and want to try the next level, this could be a lot of fun for you. If you are not quite up to this yet, it will probably just frustrate you and collect dust in your toybox. Fair warning.

Tex, like many of the toys from Tantus is a Silicone item. Silicone is a non porous material that is very easy to disinfect, and warms nicely to body temperature. It is exceedingly soft which is an excellent feature in an item this massive.

There was no noticeable odor or taste on the Tex out of the package, which was good since the large surface area of the toy could have taken a while to lose a scent.

Folks do not even think of using this toy without lube. Being Silicon, you are limited to water based lubes as oil or silicone base lubes can damage the material. Luckily, the Tex has a matte texture that holds the lube well, avoiding the problem of silicone toys quickly shedding their lubricants.

The Tex is described as a "trailer hitch" style plug and boy are they right. Different from the usual plug shape, the head is the thickest part moving down the body to the thin neck at the base. This shape makes it ideal for holding inside either just for the moment or wearing around. With some imagination, you could picture the Tex as sort of a fist. With this in mind, the Tex is a fine addition to a fisting session.

The tip has a small nub of indeterminate purpose, and the toy is otherwise smooth and untextured. Since it's so large, it doesn't travel real well so maybe leave this one at home.

Firstly, the silicone is a fantastic material for an item like this. Since you are forced to either shift your whole body weight onto this toy, or have a partner exert considerable strength, the softness and smooth texture of the material make for a very comfortable session. The wide base gives it excellent stability and a fine grip if you prefer a hands on approach.

Tex has neither suction cup nor harness compatibility. Come on now, look at it. No jack of all trades, master of none here. Tex is good at exactly one thing: stretching you the heck out, and it is very, very good at it.

Silicone is a very user friendly material. It cleans very well and does not attract dirt or lint. Since Tex is a little large for condom use, I would suggest using it as is and simply wiping it down afterward with an antibacterial wipe. Being as big as it is, Tex may vie for space in your toybox. Keeping it in its own ziploc at the bottom of your box isn't such a bad idea. Unless you are a serious anal acrobat, your Tex is probably not going to get as regular use as some of your other toys.

This toy has a very specific use, though I would not go so far as to call it a tool exclusively like the Triple Ripple. Where the Ripple shines at getting you warmed up for larger toys, Tex simply is one of those larger toys. You use it because you want to feel stretched, or full. You use it because you want to wear something around town. You don't use it to get ready for the next big thing (Or do you?).

Tex is such a sensation all on its own, it will probably wrap up your session. Call it a thunderous climax to a spectacular adventure.
