Pros
Moderate (5" deflated) to very large (13½” @30 pumps); smooth rubber cone; for couples and solo play
Cons
Does not sit upright; Not beginner friendly; recommend not boiling (no info on seals and heat)
The Deluxe wonder plug is an excellent choice for the person ready to go beyond the basics and get into deep and expansive anal play. The tapered cone (starts at <2” circumference) and moderate girth of the plug (max 5” in insertable circumference) makes it possible for intermediate to advanced users to experience the amazing inflation capability of this plug. Moderate vibration and an exceptional inflation capacity 8½“@ 10pumps make achieving a spine-wrenching anal orgasm easily possible. This is a highly stimulating toy for either gender and can be used as a plug for couples use or as a solo tool.
The plug is made of thick rubber and even without lube glides across the skin fairly well (I wouldn't insert it without lube though!). It has no bumps, ridges, or other textures built into the rubber. This smooth surface makes it very easy to slowly work the plug into even an inexperienced anus – no bumps, ridges, or other things to further aggravate the anal muscles. In addition, the lack of texture combined with the smooth rubber cone means this toy will never pull or catch the skin when used with lube.
A small amount of lube makes this plug highly slick, but even using an abundance of lubricant will not cause the plug to slip out. Be aware that the bulb and air cord both get extremely slick if lube gets on them.
The rubber has only a faint smell and no taste, and leaves no discernible scent on the skin after use.
This plug has a 3” long tapered cone head that starts at <2” in circumference and ends at 5” max insertable circumference. Below the tapered cone head is a 1” body that is 3½” in circumference. The base 7” in circumference and is NOT for insertion.
This plug starts off small enough for even casual or intermediate users to enjoy without overextending the muscles. The tapered cone allows you to work up to the bottom of the cone (5” circumference), maximizing satisfaction while minimizing discomfort. While this certainly isn't suited to a beginner, it is not so large that it can't be played with fairly early on. The short body of the plug is small enough that even a casual user will have no discomfort once the plug is fully inserted. The large base (a whopping 7” around) means you never have to worry about inserting too much, while the bottom of the cone (5” around) keeps this sweet little toy right where it's supposed to be.
The plug is multi-featured, offering both vibration and inflation. The vibration control is located on the side of the battery box and is very simple. Roll the disc up to increase vibration and down to decrease or turn it off entirely. The internal base of the plug (this is the hard center that gives it the cone shape) is what vibrates, so the vibration is equalized throughout the plug. At low vibration settings this plug still offers decent sensation and is extremely quiet. At its highest setting it's still quieter than a computer fan. *Just a note: My husband and I tested it on high to see if the sound was loud enough to pass through a typical wood door – it wasn't.*
The inflation capability of this plug is amazing. Deflated the cone's largest point is 5” around. The inflation occurs at the middle of the plug and spans the entire 3” of the cone shaped head minus the actual 5” ridge at the base of the cone. At 5 hand pumps the largest circumference is 7”, at 10 the largest point is 8½” and 9¾” @ 15 pumps. My final measurement was at an astounding 30 pumps and it measured 13½” around the largest point. I believe it could have been pumped further (the rubber is very thick and should not bust), but as I do not know the integrity of the internal seals I don't want to push it any further. A small push-button air release valve is located near the pump and deflates the plug quickly. As an alternate method of deflation, you can remove the hand bulb (though I'll admit other than for cleaning I don't know why you'd want to).
Two cords extend from the bottom of the base, making it impossible for this plug to sit upright without being held. One is an electrical wire, leading to the vibration control/battery box (this cord comes twist-tied but can be extended to a great length). The other is a rubber hose leading to the air release valve and hand pump, and is far shorter than the vibration control wire. While I would have loved to see the functionality of standing this thing up on a hard surface to work it in, even without this feature this plug is a definite keeper.
I would advise using an anti-bacterial foaming soap (I use Dial Anti-bacterial Foaming Hand Soap) with hot water to clean the plug, hose, and hand bulb of any lubricant that may be on them. The bulb is removable from the hose (comes off with a slight tug and goes on just as easily), but the hose is NOT removable from the plug, so don't try. Try not to get water inside the hose (leaving the bulb on to clean the hose will prevent water from going up the hose) because stagnant water can breed things you don't want inside your toy and there is no drying mechanism in the toy to keep that from happening.
The battery/vibration control box is NOT waterproof, so don't get it wet. It is made of a fairly typical plastic so just use a dry rag or a sanitizing wipe to remove any lube from the device.
As this plug is made of rubber, it is possible to boil the plug (just the tapered conical plug, not the cords!) for sterilization. Personally, I would NOT recommend this as high heat can weaken some seals (and we have no information on the type or integrity of the internal seals used in the plug) and this may make the inflation component useless.
Storage is simple... just pack it away somewhere. The cords bend well and it does not require any special temperature.
Despite the fact that this is entirely made as an anal toy, the plug can be inserted vaginally and inflated with great results. The vibration is strong enough to get your attention and when inflated to 10+ pumps, this toy pushes on the vaginal walls like an internal massage and makes you forget its diminutive size.
As another personal note, I would advise not walking around with this plug inserted. It may sound silly, but the cords can trip you up and that can get rather painful!
Even for a fairly casual anal player like myself this toy wasn't too much of a push. The 5" bottom of the cone gave me a little trouble at first, but with a little (and I really do mean little) work it slid in smoothly. Once the plug was inserted there was just a little pressure inside but nothing special. Flipping on the vibration nearly took my breath away (since the WHOLE plug vibrates, its a damn strong feeling on the inside). I grabbed the hand bulb and started pumping it up slowly and by squeezes 3 and 4 I was nearly ready to scream. Another couple pumps and I slid two fingers into my hole and used my thumb to stroke my clit while I kept pumping the bulb. The sensations from the plug were so good I needed no lube to finger myself and stroke my clit. I came hard and the orgasm lasted a while. About halfway through I hit the button to deflate the plug and laid there for a few minutes after it was over, just enjoying the vibrating in my ass.
Its like this pretty much every time I use this plug. We originally bought this for my husband but I think I end up playing with it more than he does!
Follow-up commentaryI still like it25 months after original review
This remained a frequently used toy in my collection until my ferret climbed in the dresser and chewed a hole in the rubber. Planning to replace it soon.

Good review. I used this plug with a sub and found it to be a great toy for both anal and vaginal use. Had a very similar experience to yours. The only qualm I had is that the plastic valve, or something around that part, developed a small slow leak over time. With a couple quick pumps you're back in action, but if you're not the person wearing it it becomes hard to judge the inflation.
