This small pure silicone probe by California Exotics is designed and advertised as a beginner's probe. It has a suction cup on the end which can help to change up what positions are used with it. The base is fairly small but so far has not caused a problem.





Again, this toy is designed for beginners so more advanced users may not have their needs/wants met with this toy.

This probe is made from silicone with a TPE cover. This material gets a rating of 10 on Edens safety material list. Silicone is a silky/velvety smooth textures and is food-grade material, Hypo-allergenic, Latex free, Non-porous, and Phthalates free.

The only texture is two seams that go up both sides of the probe. They are noticeable but not a problem. Other than that, there is nothing but a smooth, silky feeling. The probe is pliable and durable.

The probe stand 4 inches high and begins with about 1/2 inch in diameter and is 4 inches at its maximum diameter. This probe begins small and gradually increases in size until it reaches the bulge. About 3 to 3 1/2 inches are insertable. The shape of the probe is beautiful and since I got the blue one, it reminds me of a wave in the ocean. It does come in blue and pink.







It is designed for beginners and seems to be about perfect for my beginner.




The design really doesn't have a realistic look of anything. It is small enough to take with you almost anywhere. It is a lint collector though so it would be better to put it in a plastic bag to transport places.

This probe is so versatile it can go anywhere you want to take it. There is nothing electronic about it, no open areas, and no need to avoid water. It can be used in the tub/shower, in a hot tub (preferably for solo or partner play only), in the bedroom/bed, or anywhere in the house that you want to have fun. It doesn't stay in well enough to wear while walking around and the base is rather small so I think it would be better used for play time only.
The suction cup does hold the toy in place but it is small. That is the main concern I have with this toy. I've not had any problems with it but it still concerns me and that is why it loses a star from me.

Since this probe is 100% silicone, this toy can be washed with warm water and soap or a toy cleaner. If it is to be shared, boiling it is strongly recommended. It can also be placed in the top shelf of the dishwasher and sterilize it that way.
It should be stored away from other silicone toys.
It arrived in a plastic box and was nestled into a plastic form made just to fit it. While it can be stored in this box,the box is much bigger than need be. I store my probe in a plastic zip lock bag in my nightstand drawer. It definitely needs to be stored in something because it attracts lint like honey attracts flies!
Water based lubes should be used with this probe.

The toy arrived in a plastic box with the probe nestled into a form fitting plastic shell inside. It is not discreet when it arrives as the front of the box is clear and the toy is right there. The only information that comes with it is on the box which is enough. It has several languages written on it. Care instructions are written in tiny print at the bottom of the box but if you have other silicone toys, you already know how to clean and care for it.






You can use the box for storage but I found a zip lock bag does just as well and takes up less space.

While hubby likes this toy, it won't be used on a daily basis but will be used at times. As we all know, sometimes we're just not in the mood for the extra stimulation. I haven't tried it out yet but as I will and will report back in the follow up report.

I ordered this probe because my hubby has shown a little interest in anal play. I had some beads but they just don't work very well. I was hoping this probe would be the key. I prepared the probe and had everything on my nightstand.
