Colt - The Prowler is a powerful vibrator that is listed as an anal vibrator, but can also be used on the vagina and other external parts for stimulation. When we first opened the package, my lover described the Prowler to a police baton, which seems to be a common comparison from people on this site (I must say, it's a very accurate comparison). This toy is big. Looking at the pictures and the statistics on it's info page really didn't give me an actual image of how big it really was. Honestly, I was a little afraid to use this anally (which I had purchased it for). The bottom portion of the toy is a handle, measuring about four and a half inches (4 1/2 inches). That then morphs into a large, phallic shape which measures about six inches (6 inches); making it a total of ten and a half inches (10 1/2 inches). The insertable end has a circumference of four and one fourth inches (4 1/4 inches), making it somewhat of a monster in the eyes of a beginner.

This toy has a fantastic, easy to use dial to change the speed. One direction is more vrooom, the other is less. It's simplistic and easy to use in the heat of the moment. I'm unsure of how many different speeds to claim it has, since the speeds seamlessly mesh together while turning the dial. From the beginning you have strong vibrations and over the span of turning the wheel, it just keeps getting stronger and stronger. Along with the strength of the vibrations, the strength of the buzz sound increases as you turn the wheel. This toy is pretty loud, definitely the loudest toy I've ever owned [to date].

The Prowler takes 3 double A batteries (AA). The section to this is located in the handle portion underneath an unscrewable cap. Honestly, it took me forever to find the battery compartment, it seemed like there was no actual opening looking it over. It's a little above the speed dial for anyone that doesn't know. There is an o-ring in the compartment intended to make the toy waterproof, but I've never actually used the toy while in a watery place. I have wiped it off in the sink and it came out of it just fine though.

Since the Prowler is made of plastic, it's incredibly easy to care for. Water and soap can do the job easy. Can use alcohol in the cleaning process if you're sharing it and worried about passing it around.

As for storage, I just keep it in it's original package in my toy drawer. The toy/package does take up a lot of room, but it's the easiest method to keep it from rolling all over the drawer when I open it.

The packaging was rather simplistic, just a plastic blister pack with a small card with the name on it. No user's instructions came with the toy, so good luck if you have problems with it. Despite not having any pictures of people or anything fancy on the package, I'd still say it's anything but discreet; you have a giant vibrator being shown off in the package and it is obviously a vibrator to any viewer.

As I previously said, I was kinda shocked at how large the Prowler was when I first saw it and was even having second thoughts of trying it.
