I think this toy is well suited for beginners. It looks benign, certainly not huge or intimidating. The color is nice and vibrant, and the toy is well made and cute. It would be great as a way to dip your toe in the water when it comes to anal play. It works well for what it is. It is quite small, so it's not going to cause any sort of intense sensations, but if you were brand new to anal play, the "newness" of sensation might be enough for you. It has a pop sensation when you put it in. It stays where it is supposed to and has a nice large loop at the end to keep it from going anywhere you don't want it to go. This toy holds heat relatively well. If you run it under warm water, it stays warm for quite a while, which gives you a different sensation (don't make it too warm!).

It is a silicone toy, so be sure to use a water based lube. You won't need a ton of lube because it is such a small toy and the tapered tip works well for insertion. It has a decent amount of "squish" to it, so it is gentle to insert. There has been a lot of talk about the seam and discomfort from it, but I didn't really experience any issues with it. The seam is visible, but I didn't feel it at all. You can boil it or throw it in the dishwasher to disinfect.

Overall, if you are brand new to anal and curious, you might want to try this. If you have any experience at all, then maybe something with more to offer you might be the way to go. For what it is, it's a great toy, but it's not for everyone.

I have recommended this to a few others, and they've really liked it as a first step to anal play. Although I feel like you would "outgrow" it fairly quickly, it would still be useful for a warm up toy, or those times when you just want a little something extra.
