Orion’s Small Plug of Lust was one of my first butt plugs. I bought the Li’l End and the Small Plug of Lust to first start exploring anal play. I love that this butt plug is small, silicone, and easy to insert. However, I found it too little even for me. Its size is comparable to only about a finger. Plus, it really drove me nuts that it kept falling out during use. This plug is a great buy if you have never played with your back door before. However, if you’re looking for a bigger plug that will stay in for a longer period of time, this isn’t for you. I suggest this for beginners only as more advanced users will be disappointed in its small size.

The Small Plug of Lust is made out of silicone. If you’re going to stick something up your butt, I definitely would suggest silicone. It’s safe to use, is hypoallergenic, and non-porous. This means you can share this plug as long as you sterilize it after each use. It rates a ten out of ten on Eden Fantasy’s Safety Scale.

The Small Plug of Lust had no noticeable smell when I opened the package. There is one seam on the plug, but I didn’t feel it when inserted. It can attract some hair and lint, but not as bad as other toys I own. This plug doesn’t have much drag to it, but it is always a good idea to use lubricant when you are inserting something anally.

The Small Plug of Lust is very smooth with no texture. It is fairly flexible and very easy to insert. It isn't as flexible as the Li'l End, but still a little stretchy. This is great for newbies to anal play.

As I mentioned, this plug is fairly small. It’s only about as big as a finger. It is a total of 3 1/2” long and has an insertable length of 2”. It has a circumference of 3 ½” and a diameter of 1”.



Like most butt plugs, the top of it has a pointy tapered tip that increases in size, then decreases in size to the neck. It has a small flared base to make sure it doesn’t get sucked up your butt. It has a little ring to make it easy to handle and pull out.

Since the small plug of lust is so small, it’s very easy to hide and store. You could definitely travel with it if you wanted to.

I love that this plug was super easy to insert. However, it doesn’t really stay in well unless you literally don’t move. I first tried using it while I was masturbating. I started having some fun and not a minute later the plug slipped out. The only real way this plug will stay in during intercourse or masturbation is if you hold it in. I didn't like having to constantly hold it when I was trying to focus on other areas. I put it back in, but it kept falling out. So, I gave up and put it to the side.

My other main complaint about this plug is its small flared base. Now I might be a little anal (pun intended) but the flared base is too small for my comfort. I am a little paranoid, but I think this plug could get lost up there. I feel more comfortable when the flared base is bigger like the Li’l End. It makes me feel more comfortable during use. All that being sad, I doubt that it would actually get lost up there. However, I’d personally rather stick with plugs that have a larger base.

Although the ring handle design makes it easy to pull out, it makes the plug uncomfortable to sit on. The Small Plug of Lust is not designed for long-term use. Even if you could comfortably sit on it, the plug keeps slipping out so you couldn’t walk around with it. If you want to find a plug that is comfortable to sit on, stick to a plug that has a large flat flared base.

Silicone is very easy to care for. There are a lot of ways that you can clean it. You can wash it in warm soap and water for a quick clean up. If you want to sterilize it, boil it for a few minutes, put it in the dishwasher, or clean it in a 10% beach solution. Always sterilize the Small Plug of Lust if you are going to share it with a partner.

Since this plug is silicone, do not use a silicone lubricant. It can possibly damage the plug. I like to use a water based lubricant. When adding lubricant, you only need a little drop to lubricate the whole plug. A little goes a long way.

I store the plug in a plastic bag to keep other materials away.

The Small Plug of Lust was put in a see through package with a half nude woman on the front. It’s definitely not discreet! There wasn’t any information with the plug. I recycled my packaging.

I’m rating the Small Plug of Lust three stars out of five. Although it is silicone and a great size for beginners, it isn’t comfortable for long term use and it keeps slipping out. You can pretty much insert your finger in your butt for the same feeling as the Small Plug of Lust. I’d suggest getting something like the Li’l End for your first plug. I own both plugs and took a comparison picture to show you the difference. As you can see, the Small Plug of Lust is much smaller than the Li'l End. I prefer the larger flared base and the bigger size of the Li'l End.
