I must preface by saying as a guy I only use this anally. I cannot comment on using it as a vaginal plug.

As a butt plug, it has various uses. Once put in, you can use it for kegels, masturbation, or even meandering about so you can feel dirty because no one else knows you have a butt plug in. Personally, I leave it in while masturbating so it hits my P-spot a lot. Especially during orgasm, it repeatedly stimulates me. The Ryder is well designed. The base is comfortable for sitting. It was redesigned because this used to be an issue. So, while reading other reviews, especially the negative ones, please keep this in mind. The only negative thing I can say is if you have larger hands the base may be too small to easily handle. The flare is round and easy to pull out and the base prevents it from ever slipping inside you. Since it's tip is very blunt I find it to be pleasant and never painful. On the other hand, since the tip is so blunt it takes a bit of work to get in. Luckily, since it is a Tantus silicone toy, it has a nice give to it without being squishy. There is still enough firmness for pleasant stimulation.

This plug is not for beginners. An easier to insert plug is recommended. If you do choose this as a first plug be sure to warm up liberally. Do not underestimate the girth of this plug if you have not used a plug before.

As listed above, Tantus silicone is a very high quality material. It has no smell and no taste. It feels rather plush for how firm it actually is. The surface is smooth (non-porous) which feels nice in hand and in use. The firmness combined with the blunt tip make it more of an advanced plug. All stimulation comes from the shape and material. It is quite a simple little toy.

Silicone toys should not be used with silicone lube, so be sure to use water-based lube as I previously stated. This is very important! Using silicone lube will damage this toy!

Tantus silicone is incredibly safe. In fact, it scores a 10/10 on the safety scale here on EdenFantasys. To clean it simply use antibacterial soap or a 10% bleach solution. This is also very important, which is why I have reiterated it here. A high safety rating does not mean it does not need cleaning. Because it is non-porous it will not collect unwanted material but that does not mean the toy is antibacterial or anything like that.

Overall, the material is most noted for being safe, pleasant to use, and good for the toy's use.

I love the design of the Ryder. Whether I am inserting and removing it, leaving it in, or otherwise the design is aces. While sitting and standing it is comfortable. The base is large enough and safe and works well as a handle. The blunt tip is a bit difficult to insert without proper warm-up; beginners beware.

The size is wonderful, giving a nice full feeling. The plug itself is very small when looked at when compared to a shampoo bottle or other travel item. It can easily be tucked away for travel. Mine is in my shower bag and no one can even tell!

As far as looks, it is obviously a butt plug. Besides the nifty colors it comes in it is really quite boring, but still quite obvious in its use. Be sure to stow it away when not in use.

Again I must repeat: being a silicone toy, you must not use silicone lube! Use a water based lube with this toy! Otherwise the Ryder can be damaged!

Each Tantus toy is packaged in a clear plastic box. In it is a casing that folds out in opposite directions holding the toy inside. Since it is see-through, the original box is not discreet at all. As nice as it is for protecting the Ryder it is easy for everyone to see what is inside. Plus, the box says what it is. If it is stashed away the box is quite nice for storage. As mentioned above, find a sack for this toy.

There are no instructions enclosed. As simple as this toy the lack of instructions is not a problem.
