A Front Door Perspective on The Back Door Rotator
I scooped up the Back Door Rotator for vaginal use as a small, multifunction toy with a suction cup. I often look to anal toys for my vaginal pleasure, since I like my toys petite. The Rotator wasn’t very exciting in person, I must say. I was quite disappointed in its lack of vibration, and poor quality battery pack. Despite the good suction cup, I can’t recommend this toy for either front or back door fun.

Pros
Suction cup works well. Easily inserted tip. Rotation motor is strong enough to withstand orgasm.
Cons
Does NOT vibrate. Smells bad. Battery pack is cheap and already broken.
I often look to anal toys for vaginal use, because of their smaller size. Your average dual action vibrator is just too big for me, so I'm always looking for ways to get the features without the girth. I also had been looking for a good dildo for the shower with a strong suction cup base. I thought the Back Door Rotator might be a good solution to both issues. This review offers a perspective on vaginal use for this toy; anal usage is not reviewed. Nevertheless, interested parties might be able to benefit from information provided here regarding quality, sound, etc.
The first thing I noticed when I took it out of the package was the strong odor. It smelled very strongly (almost as bad as a jelly toy) even though the material is plastic and has a high safety rating. I sat it out to off gas for a few days, but it still smelled. I decided to use a condom to be safe. The next thing I noticed was the battery pack; it can only be described as cheap. Even a friend noticed. The wire extending from the pack looked a bit on the short side. This ended up being an issue for me and I imagine it would also be an issue for partner play.
My biggest issue with the Rotator right off the bat though was that it didn't vibrate. Under the subtitle on this website, it says 'Vibrating Anal Plug...' and it says it again under product type and functions. While I noticed later it does not say that it vibrates in the description itself, I feel justified in expecting a toy that vibrated AND rotated. The lack of vibration could only mean one thing...this toy wasn't going to get me off on its own!
I decided the thing to do was test drive it in the shower (since the box advised not to get the battery pack wet but said the toy was washable) and I knew I could finish myself of with a nice clitoral orgasm courtesy of my pulsing showerhead. I started out playing with nothing but the toy itself and a lubed up condom. There was very little to get me excited. The tip of the toy does produce a tongue-like swirling motion, which should in theory be pleasurable when applied to my clit, but it just didn't work for me. I ended up using my own hand while the toy was inserted... It slid in with ease, thanks to the gently tapered tip. The size was perfect for what I wanted and gave me a just full enough feeling.
The suction cup did work very well on the tiled shower wall. The most I got out of this toy was with it off and simply mounted behind me on the wall, letting me slide in and out with ease. For whatever reason, the cup did not adhere as well to the plastic chair surface in the shower. It may have been the material, the lube sliding down, or a curve in the seat, but it wouldn't stay still while I attempted to ride it. However, I went ahead and left it inserted while I remained seated and tested out the rotation.
There is a discernable difference between level one and level six, but any nuances in the other settings are lost. It feels more like two settings and is not very strong... this might be a plus for a beginner, either vaginally or anally speaking. The messaging beads do very little, internally, at the entrance of the vagina, or even applied directly to the clit. As far as the rotation lending itself to any g-spot orgasms, it just doesn't. It's just not what the toy was designed for; there is not enough curve. I was still hoping though, since the rotation function is essentially the same as many vaginal toys.
The noise level is medium for a toy with spinning metal beads, but it won’t win any awards for discretion. The quality of the beads and rotation function seems fine so far, and the suction cup is good. However, the shorter cord and cheap battery pack ended my playtime early. As I shifted, the reach of the cord caused the battery pack to fall to the floor, cracking open and sending batteries flying. Now it’s broken, so sadly I won’t be giving the toy another try.

Experience
Sitting with the Rotator buried deep inside me, while I played with the settings with one hand and rubbed my clit with the other was mildly pleasurable... and also mildly frustrating. Like foreplay that goes on too long, the Rotator got me turned on, it just failed to deliver. Still, I liked the sensation it afforded me, simulating standing rear entry sex. I also found the size just right for a low key orgasm (with a little help), or a prelude to sex. If I can’t fix the battery pack, I might just cut off the wire and use the toy as a dildo with a great suction cup!

There are definitely some product listing discrepancies here; I would bet money that this toy is actually jelly or rubber, given the strong smell. You have a good creative approach to sex toys, sorry this one failed.

Thank you, I hoped it would be appreciated for being a novel approach. I also am suspect about the plastic listing as material. It feels like rubber (the texture and the give...it's not rigid like plastic). I'm hopeful this will help someone out, so they know what they are getting. Thank you again for the comment! :)
